I stand behind you all the way. My children have been banned from Harry Potter and because of the manner of my teaching, they have no desire to delve into it, clearly stating that it is evil and from the devil. And they can tell all their friends as well (which I am sure they do) Luckily, they attend a christian school which does seem to have more of a control over things like this.
Keep posting, I am so enjoying reading them.

I don't know why someone doesn't sue the schools for promoting a religion with these HP books.They threw out the Bible but accepted witchcraft and sorcery, and even some Christians accept this. Sickening really.

Thanks for another enlightening post! When Harry Potter first came out, I worked as a volunteer for our library. During "free time" I started reading the first Harry Potter book (don't remember the title)...and discerned that it was NOT anything I believed the Lord wanted me (or anyone else!) to read, so i never finished that book and never attempted reading any since then. Several Christian friends said they saw nothing wrong with them and all I could come up with is "stay away from even the appearance of evil", but was laughed at for my "naive" ways. I said all that to say this: in the last days, good will be called evil and evil will be called good. Perhaps more time should be spent reading and studying God's Word. Be aware, Christian!!!
