You know, I would sure find this handy to have you come visit and do this...
Strange, that I, who gives no authority to women over men, other than mothers over their children, would say this...
God is not limited by the physical -- so pray that it might be so anyways!

Hey, Mel, You sure are funny :-)... with the authority thing... but You know, You are open to the Holy Spirit, for He is lifting up Christian women all over the world at this time. It has been said that churches that do not allow women to minister will not receive the full blessing from the Lord. So, You sure are moving right along with the Holy Spirit.
I will be praying for the Lord to send the right person to You so You will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. It changes us more than any other thing. You will so be blessed.

Although I have a somewhat stunted view of authority according to some, I still am not convinced I am wrong. I do relish advice from Godly women. And authorty of the sort I speak of, is not a requirement to minister to the needs of the church or even outside the church.
I respect you and trust you. Which means regardless of authority, you can ask much of me, in some cases beyond what a person I should recognize as having authority could demand. That seems to be too esoteric for people to understand, or I am failing miserably in explaining it.
And this very thing can cause pain. When I feel I've caused them pain beyond their abilty to bear, that hurts more than any insult they could and do hurl at me.
