1 Praise the LORD.

Hey Teri
I am sorry for your pain.
I used to feel the same things when I was in leadership. It was easier for me because I was able to back out. The problems are all still there, but I am (mostly) able to simply focus on God. He's still in charge and His Kingdon will come when it is time. All I can account for is myself (which includes loving people the best that I can).

Jon,
I am really not in pain for myself as much as I struggle with what's happening to our churches. I am concerned more with God's presence and creating a place where those who are sick and dying can find healing.
I see too much spiritual death around me and I am quite frustrated by it, aggravated by it.
I guess I just don't get it!
Anon, You have touched the core of our spiritual lethargy. It is not our prayer time or Bible reading that we need more of, it is our PRAISE to the Father.
