I've not explained entirely what I am encumbered by, nor do I feel it is important to do so. Just know this is an outright attack of my faith and well being and I find comfort in the fact my name is not yet Job

Keep in mind, my friend, the road to spiritual greatness is not an easy one. Paul was a bigshot till he was blinded by the miraculous light of Christ, then he was well on his way to nothingness. Moses sat at Pharoah's feet and was of the high family order for 40 yrs, then he spent 40 yrs. in a desert until he was well prepared for the work that God had for him. David, the king, ran and hid constantly fearing for his life until he was reaky for the kingdom. The road to spiritual greatness will take you from your old life, take you into solitude, and teach you HUMILITY. Then, and only then, you are ready to reach the world for God! Go, Fight, Win, my brother. It is worth it all!

I think I'm more of a secondary player. We need somebody else for this spiritual greatness thing.I'm fairly certain that I'm not the right person for it
I pray for continued blessing for all

Moses had the same arguement! The thing about greatness: This does not neccessarily mean that you are gonna be the next Billy Graham to the world, but you may be the next Billy Graham to your neighbors. Spiritual greatness is not measured by the same terms as the world measures greatness. Spiritual greatness is measured simply by the way that God smiles when he looks at you. It's in the way that He nudges Jesus with his elbow and says "check this kid out" Remember that Stephen was ordained to basically do the "secondary" work, but as he was being stoned, he saw Jesus STANDING, not sitting, at the right hand of the Father. Did Stephen achieve spiritual greatness? Why was Jesus standing?

Stephen had unique faith I've discussed it in the past. I realize what you are saying and the reality is the choice while mine really isn't because if God wants me to do something it's gonna get done. I'm to a point in life I can't rely on my stunning good looks any longer, and I'm running out of options in regard to life being under my control. So I am fully ready to follow wherever he leads
I shall fight on,and together we shall win
    God's guidance to you

I guess that I am just clamoring for some words of encouragement. It sounds like you are really going through a rough time and I want to see you come through this with the tenacity and fervor of a warrior. Just hang tough, there is a promised land at the end of all this mess.

I had not heard of this org., but I looked it up. Why do you ask?
I will pray for you and I will ask my Sunday school class to pray for you as well. Know this, you are not alone. The first 2 yrs. of my new life in Christ were of the most bittersweet kind. I had been deserted by friends and left virtually alone. I struggled with depression and fought to break completely free of drug use. I had several things that God had to deliver me from and all the while, He was teaching me to be the minister that He called me to be. I never would have come this far in Him were it not for those years of lonliness and solitude. My latest lesson is in humility, and this one makes me want to scream sometimes. I am so tired of being ignored and passed over and kicked to the curb. So frustrated with the binding of the tongue. And yet, if this is what it takes to be a sweet- smellig savor in His nostrils, then so be it! My love for Him must be greater than my love for myself and greater than my need for recognition and respect. There is a vast amount of things that I wish that I could share with you, but perhaps another time. Or little by little we will learn and grow from one another's experiences.
Be strong in the Lord and in the power of HIS MIGHT!

I cannot begin to count the battles I have lost. For the most part, I am certain it was because of how I fought (on my own strength) or because I lacked the faith to see the battle as worthy. Yet I do know that the war is already won. Victory is ours. Whatever small part I can do for you, ask. Even if it is not within my abilities, I will try and pray to God for guidance and strength. A prayer for you goes without saying.

Remind me, until the Lord shows me you on a regular basis and reminds me on your behalf...

I can't believe I missed out on all this. Must be for a reason. I got a bit more insight into your testimony Rev T that I asked for. I always find it comforting hearing about the journey people take. The funny thing is that I have always said that the first 2 years of my journey was really horrible. I hated it. I was so alone, felt useless, hated myself as God gently pushed all the ugly buttons. And still to this day buttons are being pushed. At least God keeps my life fun!!!!
Ross, I flt like smacking you on the side of the head after your first message, but I think it's past now.
    Stay stong

    Read Mathew 19:26.

Satan is the master of oportunity. Steady your walk with Jesus...and "this too shall pass".
