What a wonderful sermon he wrote. I know it is not easy loosing someone especially your life partner. God sees the pain and wants to heal it. I will be in prayer for you in order for those walls to be broken. Please delete this message if you feel it is not in context, but I am trusting God for the revelation.
May your heart be caressed and your soul renewed as you see the blossoms that were watered with your very tears.
    He loves you!
Sorry if this offends you, but I do feel led to say these things.
God Bless and be filled with His love.

Lee, I wouldn't delete such a lovely message.

Jack and I were married 40 years and were truly "life partners". When he was promoted to Glory, I lost half of myself but my Saviour is a friend that is closer than any brother and I cherish that.

That doesn't mean that I'll ever "get over" the loss of my darling husband but it means that I'll learn, in time, to cope with the loss. He was very ill at the end and I wouldn't wish him back in that condition.

We loved each other dearly and I'll always remember the last words on earth that he said to me as they were taking him to the hospital that terrible night, "Honey! I love you so very, very much!" and I'll cherish those words.

But Jack loved his Saviour more than anything and it was his desire to see souls saved and brought into the kingdom. So he started to write these devotionals for me to share with folks on another website where I was a host. He only got 15 written before the Lord wanted him Home.

In time, Lord willing, I'll share them all here in this blog. My prayer is that someone who will read them will be blessed.

Thanks again for your message and thanks for your caring thoughts you've shared here, Lee. The tears still flow but that's alright.

I'm looking forward to that day when "the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces;" (Isaiah 25:8)

    Christian love,

    Pat
