To be sure, I had no issues with anything posted by anyone. I thank everyone for their imput. I'm sorry that tensions rose. It looked to me like they were simply misunderstandings and stuff maybe left over from previous comments. It is discouraging that it all happened around my stupid posts but actually I haven't posted more because I'm still trying to work out a plot. I'm a little embarassed that anyone is taking my "writing" seriously.
As for the body of your post, I do see your point. One of the very hardest lessons I'm learning from my church issues is that it truly isn't so much what you say as it is how you say it. I am deciding that it is better to leave things unsaid then to say my point and hurt someone. It is a very hard lesson for me and I'm slow to learn it.
I feel for your situation Mel. I think you should just move on and keep ministering to people as you have always done.

    Hi Mel,
Paul exhorts the brethern: 1Thessalonians 5:12-24 --And we beseech you, brethern, to know them which labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their works's sake. And be at peace among yourselves. Now we exhort you, brethern, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be presserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

    Exhortation to endrance...2Timothy 1:6-12 --
Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hasth not given us the spirit of fear: but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisioner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God: Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, , but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have comitted unto him against that day. kjv
God bless you brother now and always, as you work in the vineyard of our Lord, with Love, Joy and Peace in Him......
    With God Love,

    Thanks so very much.

But I am not blameless in this. And merely the appearance of wrongdoing (evil) at times, is more troublesome than anything else.

It is not the 99 I worry about. It is the one, and that is sorrowful, indeed. I'll get past this, too. Thank you, again.

I do not for a minute think that I can bind together the brothers and sisters in Christ by force of my feeble will. Nor do I see my (or any of our) responsiblities to be more than to speak God's Word in Truth. That, quite honestly, is how I see the 'Great Commission' Spread God's Word. It will grow where it will. I am not inclined towards being especially sly in order to 'trick' people into listening to me. However, I still do believe in using wisdom as it is given in whatever approach I use with believers and non-believers alike.

You and I are not responsible for the soil that God's Word falls on. We are not to make any discernment (possibly becuase it is beyond us) as to were to spread it. We are to spread it everywhere!

And we are such weak vessles. I don't understand, sometimes. I have to step back and think. It is a process I will have to repeat again, to be sure. I know I cannot let it force me to stop, but I cannot go forward always at the same time. Times and seasons. There is one for everything.

You both are a great blessing to me and this site. There is truly only one more I would wish to hear from in this, but have no way to make it happen. I don't mean to denigrate others in this, but their gain is not significant as mine is in this all. This is my lesson, my chastisement. That others may learn from this; that is great! It spares them some pain.

    Time is what it is.

Go In the Peace of Christ,

    Mel
