    Brandon,

Please read what Jesus said in Luke 20: 34-36. After the resurrection, believers will be like the angels neither marrying or be giving in marriage.

    Sincerely,
    Joseph

I have read it. What you are doing is exactly what you are accusing me of. And is what the Jews did, that led them into missing Jesus as the Messiah. If you read the Scriptures as the end of God, then that is what you are going to have as your lot. Remember that Jesus said that the religious were searching the Scriptures, and not Him. Remember Stephen's words to the religious about resisting the Holy Spirit. There is a great deal of Scripture that you are deceived about. And neither your degree nor your position will stand up to God.

There was one Scripture that showed Jesus, as being the Son of God, and equal to God, in the OT. The Jews knew this Scripture, but even then, interpreted it outside of it's fullness.

At the resurrection none will be married, nor given in marriage. At the resurrection, there is going to be judgment. That means that the wicked are going to hear their state, and then be punished. And the righteous are going to hear theirs, and be rewarded.

After the marriage of the Lamb, after the new heavens and new earth, then there will be marriage.

You do not delight in seeking God, but in seeking law, though you are a Lutheran. Even then, in that, you separate yourself from the body of Christ, as you divide yourself away from it. You do not rejoice in the truth, but you rejoice in the letter of God's word. Therefore you do not worship in Spirit and truth.

You do not understand the things that you affirm or teach. Your understanding is based on theology, which by definition, is not absolute.

You claim to be able to expose falsehood, but the only thing that you uncover is your own iniquity. And it is fulfilled, in you, that you find out your own iniquity and hate. What are your motivations for doing this exposing of falsehood, that you claim to be doing? You may tell yourself that it is love, and truth. But God knows the intents and thoughts of your heart and mind. You may be able to believe something, and call it truth. But without the witness of the Holy Spirit, you are not in God.

Why do you seek the limitations of God? And also to expose the limitations of your adversaries? Those who are legalistic. You are doing it because you yourself, in your inward person, are afraid, and not worshiping God in the perfection of the Spirit. And that is why you come only so far. And that is why all of your fruit, is not the whole word of God.

You don't understand prophecy, nor prophesying. You don't understand the fullness of the Spirit, nor the love of God. The love of God to you is feeling like you are okay with Him, and that you don't have to do anything to impress Him, or make the grade. But you have missed the more glorifying substance of God.

You seek to prove your points through only giving Scriptures, and your interpretation of them. Also joining together with theology. But you do not rejoice in the truth of the Spirit, which is in the knowledge of God.

Prove to me that Jesus claiming to be the Son of God, and making Himself equal to Him was not blasphemy.

Your interpretations of the Scriptures are general and vague, and do not encompass the specifics, and real concepts of the Word of God. And that is why and how you are being led away from the seed of God. From His conception. And His Promises.
