These are important passages of the scriptures, dear Brenda, and a part of the gospel that must never, never be left out. God has given us ample power through the Holy Spirit to live righteously, there is no excuse for any saint to continually do those things that our Lord forbids. God bless you and yours as you continue to work in His vineyard.

I find comfort in David's Words:
16 For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You do not delight in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise.
Psalm 51:16-17 (New King James Version)
The greatest thing I could do, is nothing. I know only this:
My righteousness (all of it!) is not mine, but Christ's alone. All good that I do is for His sake, out of a sorrow for the wrongs I do that can never be undone by anything I ever do! Only in His Hope may I rise up again afer every fall (and I have had many!) And if it were not for God's Love, I could never rise again!
AMEN,
Mel
