    The Roman hands and Russian fingers of relationships

       3
         There is never a completely fail proof way to develop a relationship
    .  There are many times when I feel like the moment I begin to build trust and honor in my relationship with God I then make a wrong move that sets me back from achieving the one thing that is most important to me which is to love with a pure heart.  I don't know why but we as mankind can't seem to be involved with anyone else unless we are receiving something from the relationship that has at least an equal value to what we give in return....To what we give in return just hit me too because we so very seldom give first.

         When I look back on someone like Job to see the basic attitude that he ended up with about loving God just because God deserved to be loved above and beyond anything else I have to take pause...it isn't because God is stronger or because something will happen to me if I don't love God, but just because God made me and breathed life into me from the start of things that makes me want to love Him.  Perhaps you have had relationships that have been based upon many different things; like what is in it for me?  I have to ask the question have you ever loved purely because you love?  Have you ever lifted a small baby in your arms and held it close to feel the love; then wondered how that happened?  It is because there was a creation involved in that moment...a part of who you were or someone you loved that was present that touched your heart.  I have struggled a long time with why would God love us so much first, until I realized that it was because He knew us first!  God made us first, and He knew us before we ever were in our mothers womb.  He knew us well enough to have counted every hair on our head before we ever were born.  God loved us first.   When ever I get in the strange position of bumbling through a love relationship by doing all of the wrong things at the wrong times I need to know that I am loved first, and without a desire for pay back.  My awkward moments are not counted against me as I search for ways to express my love or my appreciation for the beauty I see there.

       Perhaps even in our relationships with each other in Christ we have had those moments where we have bungled through not knowing what to say or to do next in building the truth or the honesty we actually feel inside with each other, but there is still hope...we are still learning, and eventually we too will mature into a creature that learns to love as God loves...just for the pleasure of love.  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.

        We all go through a tremendous problem with trying to find good relationships, and in particular good spiritual relationships.  When I speak of a spiritual relationship most people think of a rather stayed relationship that we tend to form with God, but in truth that isn't the only kind of spiritual relationship that we need to understand or know about.  A very big part of any relationship with anyone is in understanding ourselves.  We cannot be honest with other unless we can first of all be truthful with ourselves.  It is also true that we cannot be a complete person without understanding and having some connection with the whole person that we are; that includes the connection we need to have with our spiritual side as well as the physical side.  We cannot have that complete connection in any relationship unless we can touch another persons spirit as well as their physical person.  The base truth about us is that we have been created to be both spiritual and physical people, and when we deny that first and most important part of who it is we are we live as only half a person.  That carries through to other people as well, and no matter how hard we may try to ignore that side of us we will never fully be happy as people until we make that connection.

        I spoke somewhat last time about absolute truths and how there are things that we cannot get around as being true.  Hot and cold, Dark and Light, sharp and dull, life and death, and Spirit and Physical  are all a part of those absolute truths.  There are also other things that are just as much a part of that group of absolute truths like Eternity and temporary.   For some people the idea of Eternity, and God as our creator has never been a part of your Absolute Truths, and yet as we look around us we cannot deny the existence of permanent as it compares to temporary things of this world.  When we begin to think in terms of relationships with others we see how that works too.  We know that for some relationships there is no more than a casual draw or temporary draw to another person based upon the needs of both at the time, but there is also a very solid and permanent connection for us with others that we long to have.  It is those kinds of relationships we tend to think of as "Soul Mate" relationships, and they become the most important ones of all to us.  The reason for that is because our spirit gets involved as well as our body in that relationship.  When I begin to speak with you about that kind of thing it is important that you take the time to assess the truth about how you have dealt with you first and then other secondly.  You see my friend you cannot successfully  have an absolutely truthful relationship with anyone else...not even with God until you have become completely honest with yourself.  That is yet as you will learn another Absolute Truth.  I really want for you to think about that for a bit until we are together again.  May you richly bless God through your life in Him;

       1                                                                                                                   Greetings in the love of Christ:

    I can not help but wonder sometimes just who might come by to view these various blogs.  I know that in this age there are many people who are looking for some kind of hope to hang on to, but that is getting really hard to find. Some of you may just be looking for a real friend that you can talk to...someone who won't put you down if you don't share the same views or understand things the same ways.  We are not all the same, and that isn't by accident; that is by design.  There is an old saying " How boring would it be if we were all the same"  In a huge way that is so true, and yet there are some things that we still need to agree on if we are going to survive in this place.  Mankind has come to an understanding on so many things in the past because we have in general adopted a view point of life from one source...that source has been an agreement of what is right and wrong.

      The idea of absolute truth is not new to us because for many generations we have taught our children what our parents have taught us is true.  These things have been based upon what they have found was the truth from their parents and so on, and while we have made great strides in finding out why certain things are true, we have not been able to really change those things that are absolutely true from being true.  Some of these things have been taken for granted as true because we have never questioned them.  Some of those things are so absolutely true that they are backed by the very forces of life itself.  The problem is in who we listen to when explaining the truth to us.  Some people cannot help but interject their own views of what this absolute truth is, and in doing so cause many others a great deal of pain and heartache in trying to find an answer for our own lives.  I am not a great fan of Creeds and Doctrines because they set down so many limits in relationships both with other men and women, and with the one greatest truth I have ever found...The Absolute truth of God.

     One real truth for you right now is that unless you were looking for some kind of answer spiritually you would not have come to this blog.  Am I right about that?  That also tells me that right now I have a great responsibility to tell you the absolute truth. That truth starts by telling you that I found God, but not in the same old conventional ways.  If that is true for one person it is absolutely true for all people because God is not a respecter of persons.  I want to do something that I have never seen done yet, and that is to take you on a journey with me as we unlock some of these things about you and God that have bothered you for so long now.  If you find this to be something that you would like to follow up on I will promise to continue to work on this series of messages with you.  If you have comments or questions just make the comments at the bottom of the blog and I promise I will get to them in the next blog.   Are you ready?  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.

    Faith and Unity in Christ

    Greetings In the Name and mercies of God:

         Welcome to a new blog in Christ, I have not been on this site for a while, but I hope all are well in God's love.   Since I have not received any comment s on the blogs I have made so far I wonder if any one is even coming to the site.  That having been said  my writings are to those of you who may come by from time to time by mistake to see what is here.  It is pretty simple actually I want to try to create a place here where you can always come and find the truth spoken...although that is not real popular right now.  I know that no matter what happens there will be some people who still long for that kind of honesty and truth to be spoken.

         The real message here is that God wants to have a relationship with all of us.  He does not care where we come from or who we claim to be in sect of worship what He wants is for us to become a part of who He is, and that is much more simple than we have allowed it to be.  It does not take rocket science to understand that God loves us...or maybe it is just because no one has ever explained why God loves us.  Can I just do that quickly?  Maybe that will help you to understand what I am saying;  you see God did create us...He even had a relationship with us before we were ever born...that's something we never hear about in church huh?

       The Bible tells us that God knows us so well that He has already counted every hair on your head...that is knowing someone pretty well I think.  The point is that God places a great deal of value in you and me because of that relationship.  The idea of sin is simple; we were born into it we were not bad before we got here like a lot of people would have you believe.  When we were born into this sinful would it became our influence and mentor about everything we touched or did so we became sinful.  You see the idea of Jesus coming into the world was very simple actually  God loved us already, remember John 3:16 " For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever would believe would not perrish , but have everlasting life"  You remember that right?  Well when God says " The world" her what He means is you and me, not all the other stuff that's here.  The whole thing is that we are the thing that He loves about this place...not the other way around.  Jesus came here to be a sacrifice for sin.  What that means is that Jesus came to take away the power that sin had over us as people so that we could have a relationship again with God just like before.  The problem is that we have been living in this sin for a while now and we need to make a choice about God and this relationship that is truthful.  Look if you are wanting to get to know God personally again... that's the other thing; you already kinda know Him because of before, but it is the influence of sin that keeps you from it now; that's why the tug on your heart happens from time to time.  That's why we need to make that choice again.  It's like any other relationship that you start to have though in that you have to keep in touch and find out about Him and see where He is coming from.  Oh yeah God will talk to you too; it's just that you need to find out  how to communicate with Him.

      This relationship is just like any other God will love you if you will love Him, but not if you treat Him like you treat everyone else. No lies, no short cuts and no manipulations!  He knows when you are lying, and He knows you even better than you know you...just remember that.  If you want to know more about this or to talk with me, just put a comment down so I will know you stopped by.  I will answer you; who knows may be we can be friends too!

    May you richly bless God through your life in Him
