dealing with rejection

Have you ever wondered if anyone cares? I mean you wonder if there is still mercy on planet earth. You feel torn, broken and crushed in spirit. You turn West only to be pushed to East. East says he doesnt  have room for you. East sends you off to North. North says  he is too tall for you, so he pushes you down to South. South cant contain you. He sends you off with a kick to a place of nowhere. Rejection.

I have been rejected before not once or twice. I cried till i could cry no more. I never felt i belonged to anyone. I felt a social misfit let alone a nobody. I wondered if i would ever mount to anything after i didnt measure up to what people called ' worth . Who could save me? Who could love me?

The last time I checked i was not a misfit anymore. I am God's child. I have over time come to know that I am loved by God. He promised in Hebrews 13:5  never to leave me nor forsake me. He,  in fact  calls me His beloved in Song of Solomon. I am His treasured possession, and so on.

If you have been rejected before or if you are feeling lost and lonely i beseech you to look up to the Lord for it is Him who has what you need. His love is everlasting. He is your ever present help in times of trouble. His love is unconditional. You dont have to earn it. And most of all, know it in your soul that He solely cares for you. That is why He sent His Son Jesus to save you and redeem you.
