To worship means to awaken the conscience the holiness of God. We know the Lord calls us to adore Him with our heart, soul and mind. POWER IN PRAYER
We know prayer is a wonderful opportunity to communicate with our heavenly Father, many believers fail to establish a consistent and meaningful time of sharing with God. Scripture encourages our persistence, yet we often give up after just a few attempts. Faith, focus, and a listening heart are required in order for us to know the Almighty. Without discernment, our flesh places a high premium on what we want to hear and neglects what God is saying. Make it a priority to listen for the Lord's message to you. As a maturing Christain, you should be seeking to deepen your prayer life. Don't allow your petitions to center around strictly temporal needs. It's okay to ask the Lord to make you productive and bless your career. But are you also asking the Lord to help you grow in forgiveness, develop patience, and increase in generosity? What's more, maturnity means taking the time to thank God when He answers your requests. Engaging in prayer reaffirms your trust that the Father is perfectly capable of providing for you today, tomorrow, and throughout eternity. Love, Candi
