In our world today prayer is not apart of our daily life. I truly believe most people say a prayer when they are in trouble. Prayer is more than asking God for help. Prayer is more then words that we say and hoping there is a God to hear us.

      Prayer is asking for help but it also it is giving thanks for the help that we had received. Prayer is talking with God, so we can build a personal relationship with Him; as a friend, and as a Father with their children. Also prayer is listening to God.

      I believe in the power of prayer. I am a man with Cerebral Palsy, and I saw the power of prayer through my life. I have learned praying is part of living. Without praying I would die inside of myself. Praying had helped me each day of my life.

      I have a speech problem. I always have to repeat myself about two times or more. Through my prayers, I know that God can understand me. Through praying I do not have to repeat myself. Also through praying, God give me the strength to struggle with my disability.
      
      For 20 years I wrote poems but in my eyes I am not a poet or a writer. Each poem of mine hat I wrote as a prayer or when I was going through a difficult time in my life. Every poem has a special meaning for me. Each of us has struggles we face every day. I am bless because I have the gift of writing what I am feeling.
