THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
The 10 Commandments
The basic Moral Knowledge every one needs
God's word provides essential information we could
not discover from other sources. It provides the proper framework with which we
may apply other knowledge. God in His Word instructs humankind on how to live.
He commands us to live in harmony with His revealed way of life. God's laws
define the true values, and He expects us to make them our own—rejecting any
other alternative.
In an unparalleled
period of information overload, the world is desperately troubled because of
its fundamental lack of basic understanding and common sense. God's Word
reveals the true values by which we must live if we are to solve our massive
relationship problems and the other seemingly insoluble dilemmas that threaten
to overwhelm us. God Commandment whether old or new testament is the word and
his Moral Laws is not an Old Testament thing it is a Godly thing.
From beginning to end, the Bible is a book of
spiritual instruction. Its focus is on God's spiritual law, which is embodied
and summarized in the Ten Commandments. They are a reflection of God's mind and
character. All Moral laws are expansions, case studies and detailed examples of
how we are to love God and our fellowman.
Hosea
4:6 (KJV)
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because
thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no
priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget
thy children.
This Article is about the Moral Laws
of God, mostly about the 10 Commandments, which is about relationship with each
other and a personal relationship with God.
All of this is pointless if you do
not understand the basic concepts of our relationship with God.
First, you must understand the Laws
of God was never, I mean never was meant to save you from Hell Fire. Ask your
self this was the plan of Salvation of Jesus Christ stopped or put on hold when
God handed down the 10 Commandments on MT. Sinai.
Well, of course not.
Now one more thing did animal sacrifices
for their sin offering stop after the commandments was given by God; again NO! The
Law was never given to save your Soul. A Blood offering can only cover sin, the
Penalty for sin is death something or someone (Jesus Christ) has to die for
you.
Notice this in the Old Testament
Leviticus
16:15-16 (KJV) 15 Then shall he kill the goat of the sin
offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail,
and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it
upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:
16 And he shall make an atonement for the holy
place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because
of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the
tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their
uncleanness.
Also, Leviticus
4:3 (KJV)
3 If
the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let
him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish
unto the LORD for a sin offering.
That’s right a Blood offering for
the sin of the people even the priests; Yes, your reading it right, remember
the Law had already been given. So, the next time you hear a Preacher say your
not under the Law your not save by the Law your save by GRACE. You now know
more than most of them do you have never been saved by the Law. Even covenants
between God and Man had to be done by the shedding of Blood not law.
Exodus 24:8 (KJV)
8 And
Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold
the blood of the covenant, which the LORD
hath made with you concerning all these words.
Therefore, in a way it is a wrong
teaching that you do not need the Moral Laws of God; as they (Moral Laws) teach
us how to have a relationship with God.
There is something God will not
tolerate in your life whether you’re a believe or not Satan and his Angels were
believer’s and was still cast out of Heaven because of their rebelling.
Concerning the Law, we are in fact
under the Moral Laws of God. Nowhere in the Bible will you find God teaching
that the Law of any kind has to save your Soul.
In Deut.
12:23 God said the Blood is the life.

be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou
mayest not eat the life with the flesh.
Now many of the Laws and Statutes
of the Old Testament were meant for the Priests and their ceremonial events of
the time for which they were given.
Many also had to do with animal Sacrifices for
the remission of sin for their day and time.
These Laws were never meant for us
after the (Death Burial and Resurrection) of Jesus Christ. It is at this point
in the teachings of the Laws of God that most Christians and Pastors get
confused about.
The differences between ceremonial
and sacrificial laws and the Godly Moral Laws for which God give us to pattern
our Christian and Godly lives after.
These are the Laws and Commandment
that are branded into our hearts and mind as we build our relationship with our
Lord and Savior’
Hebrews
8:10 (KJV)
10 For
this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write
them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a
people:
Also, Hebrews

16 This
is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the
Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write
them; 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no
more.
Jeremiah
31:33 (KJV)
33 But
this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel;
After those days, saith the LORD,
I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will
be their God, and they shall be my people.
In Jeremiah 31 if you do some
checking, is Prophecies concerning the coming messiah Jesus Christ. Accepting
Jesus Christ as your Savior and redeemer, you are bringing and accepting his
moral Laws and Principals in unto your own Soul.
The Moral laws that covered the
people of the Old Testament are still the same Moral Laws that covers us today.
God’s Moral laws is his living principals of how we are to live, Love and respect
both God himself as well as other people. No stealing is a Moral law, no
murdering is a Moral law, respecting our parents is a moral law, there are many
others that cover subjects like Abortion, Homosexuality, Child abuse, Rape,
incest, addition and many others these are the Laws that governs your lives.
You cannot live for Christ without these Moral Laws attached to your Soul.
People today are trying to separate
Jesus from his Moral Commandments so, you can have Jesus (go to Heaven) and no
Morals (live as you please)
For an example, look at this
scripture; now that you have a little better understanding about what Laws were
talking about, not ceremonial or sacrificial Laws but Laws of Moralities. These
scriptures will make a lot more since this time around.
Matthew 5:19-20 (KJV)
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least
commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the
kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall
be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say unto you, That except your
righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and
Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Therefore,
modern man says we live not by the old Law anymore. Jesus says we do and not
only do we accept them and do them we teach them as well.
Breaking these Moral Commandments
is not a good idea and does not sit well with God (Father, Son and Holy Ghost)
even worse, it is not just breaking them but teaching me to break them; sound familiar.
You are not under the Law of Moses,
your save not by Law but by Grace. The
constant teaching of were not govern by Moral Law in our Churches is crippling
America’s Moral standards, people are beginning to believe we no longer have a
standard of Moral living we can lie, cheat and commit adultery and still be OK
in the eyes of God.
Do not believe me; I mean, have you
watched the news in the past few years (unbelievable how bad it has gotten) These
Godly Morals Principals have been so strip down that all you see today is mass
shootings, drug and alcohol addiction, Child Porn and so forth.
When God was kicked out of our
learning centers, we call public Schools so was Moral values and Family unity.
Anyway, Jesus goes on to say that except your righteousness shall
exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no
case enter into the kingdom of heaven. So what was they doing that was
so bad that unless you don’t do them your self your not getting in to Heaven
that’s right despite all your once save always save folks Jesus said it not me,
Jesus did; your not going to Heaven, unless your righteousness exceeds the
scribes and Pharisees.
OK then what did they do? Glad you ask. First,
let us make sure whom Jesus is talking about

1 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were
of Jerusalem,

he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also
transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
(Transgress = to violate a command or law Sin.) Here is a

replied, “And why do you, by your traditions, violate
the direct commandments of God?
So there it is Jesus is telling you directly by violating
the Moral Laws of God and replacing them with your own version is a recipe for
disaster.
How do I know it is a Moral Commandment Jesus is talking

Matthew 15:4-6 (KJV)
4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and,
He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his
father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest
be profited by me;
6 And honour not his father or his
mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of
none effect by your tradition.
Need a little better translation
Matthew 15:4-6 (NLT)
4 For instance, God says, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and
‘Anyone who speaks disrespectfully of father or mother must be put to death.’
5 But you say it is all right for
people to say to their parents, ‘Sorry, I can’t help you. For I have vowed to
give to God what I would have given to you.’
6 In this way, you say they don’t need
to honor their parents. And so you cancel the word of God for the sake of your
own tradition.
In other words,
kinds of what you hear today in the big TV Preachers do. Do not pay your bills
give it to us. The scribes and Pharisees, is tell the
kids do not honor your Mom and Dad by helping them give us the money.
The Commandment that Jesus is talking about
is of course one of the 10 Commandments.
Exodus 20:12 (KJV)
12 Honour
thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Therefore, I know it is a Moral Law because Jesus
is saying that the Pharisees and Scribes are replacing one of the 10
Commandments with their own Laws and Commandments.
Jesus goes on to say in
Matthew 15:8-9 (KJV)
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and
honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me,
teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Million of
so called Christians all over the world especially in America every week they go
to Church on Sunday, shout and sing praises to God and then go home and beat
their wives and children some will get high on drugs or alcohol some will watch
porn and so on.
These people
are immoral and unjust Jesus said in vain they worship me. Moreover, since
there moral righteousness has not exceeded that of the scribes and Pharisees these men and women are not getting in.
I am not judging
Jesus is, he just said it you just read it.
To be fare they
have been hearing this for years that their saved by God’s Love and not by
their own good deeds; therefore no matter how they live their lives or how
wrong they are they still get to go to heaven. Wow, what a deal live an evil
perverse life style and still get go to paradises.
You see we all are sinners, we all come up
short, we make mistakes but you do not accidently commit adultery or rob a bank
this is willfully and knowingly sinning against God and his Moral Commandments

Jesus a simple and direct question

16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master,
what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
Eternal Life, who in the world would not want
eternal life in Paradise? Amazingly, Jesus
said something unexpected and something you want hear in about 75% of Christian Churches today.

could not have Christ without the Moral Commandments (LAW) Well there it is
again that old Commandment thing OK then. So again, how do you know he is

Now the man being born into humanities
sinful nature is probably not being exactly honest here, in any event after
Jesus explains about the Moral Laws here this man says no problem I done a real
good job in that field.
Now before I go on remember I said that from
the beginning that whether old or new testament that the Law was not design or
arranged in anyway to save your soul, that takes the Blood of the Lamb. Jesus
does not argues these issues with the young man the Man had ask a simple
question and Jesus has giving him a simple answer. Matthew 19:20-21

young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what
lack I yet?
21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be
perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou
shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Jesus tells him well son you need me,
come follow me give up the things that are holding you back and come into life.
The Moral laws that this man feels he has done a good job of has gotten him
half way. I mean without the Moral laws you would not even know you needed to
be saved.
Remember what Jesus said to inter
into life (to inter into life keep the Moral Laws Commandments. Again, to inter
into life, the Law is not that life. Jesus is the life the Law is what brought you
unto the life Jesus Christ the Lamb of God.

6 Jesus
saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Once you break or reject the Moral
Commandments that brings you to Christ then there is no coming to Christ. Yes,
now your getting it when the Pharisees kicked God’s moral Laws out, which
brings you unto the life (Jesus) and replaced it with there own man made Laws. Then
their laws was in vain.
Then there is no salvation for the
only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ.
Without the Morals Laws convicting
you of your sins, you would not know you needed save from hell you would simply
live then die then burn.
Keep in mind Jesus Christ is the
same today as he was in the beginning.
Hebrews

8 Jesus
Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
John 1:1-2 (KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God.

His Principals and standards of
living has never and will never change no matter how much our immoral society
would love to change it to meet their own standards of living.
Revelation 21:8 (KJV)

the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and
whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their
part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second

of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and
whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a
lie.
Wait did Jesus say blessed is the people who does his Commandments yep,
you heard it right. There is that moral issue again.
(Note. Since dogs are part of God’s creation
and when he created all living things, he said it was good. it is believe that
the reference to a dog here, since it is so out of place next to Whoremongers
and Murders is to indicate the low degree of the condition of a mans Soul as he
has defiled him self with all matter of immorality.
As a rule, dogs are not moral or
immoral they do not hate, cheat, or lie. However, they will return unto their
own vomit and eat it and or eat POOP you know what I mean)

see) should obey is absolutely vital to our relationship with Christ.

As you can see the Moral laws were
meant to convict the unlawful people, how else would they know what they were
doing was a sin. The Law is good when it is used correctly and is taught correctly
not as a substitute to Salvation but a way to salvation.

5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God
perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
Notice again these are Moral Commandments you do not see in any of these
scripture and thing relating to Animal sacrifice, what your to eat or not to
eat, (Food Laws were for the physical health of God people and is still
important into days society but has nothing to do with Morality)
No, what you should wear laws and
so forth only Moral Laws and Commandments Paul makes it clear as Jesus did they
immorality will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Is a Liar
Do not get mad at me John said it.
Stripping God’s Moral Laws from our Church pulpit has been absolutely
devastating to our nation for an example Christian complain about no prayer in
Schools but are unwilling to vote the right people into office that could
change it.
The reason God was kicked out in
the first place was his Moral absolute. In other words if God’s Morals was
being taught in Schools Gay Marriage would be denounced as wrong and immoral.
Almost half of modern Christians according to different polls show (Christians)
now accept gay marriage as an OK act.
By teaching that we are no longer
under the Moral Laws of God, it is the same thing as saying that lawlessness is
now acceptable among Christians.
Many today are no longer looking
for truth, but instead are looking for a smooth, easy, comfortable religion
that will allow them to live the way they please and still give assurance of
salvation.

commandments.

and his commandments are not grievous.
Remember what I said that the Moral
Laws is what draws us to Jesus allowing us to see that we are in need of a
Savior and it is what allows us to have that personal relationship with Christ.

he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we
know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
One more thing your not going to be
comfortable with Some Christians has been heard saying, “The Holy Spirit
told me we don't need to obey the Ten Commandments anymore.”
The Scripture says they are Lying,
that would be contrary to the word of God. These people want to go to Heaven
and yet have no consequences for their action. Jesus calls this being
(lukewarm)
Revelation 3:15-16 (KJV)
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would
thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm,
and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
You cannot have Jesus without his Moral Commandments.
Keep this next Scripture close to your heart I will give in
a translation that makes it easier to understand and for you King James only
folks I will give it in that version as well.

26 Dear
friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge
of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins.
27 There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment
and the raging fire that will consume his enemies.
28 For anyone who refused to obey the law of Moses was put to
death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
29 Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those
who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the
covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have
insulted and disdained the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to us.
30 For we know the one who said, “I will
take revenge. I will pay them back.” He also said, “The LORD will judge his own people.”
31 It is a terrible thing to fall into
the hands of the living God.

indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted
the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and
hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his

31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the
living God.
Remember I have mentioned the
difference between being a sinner as in making mistakes and falling short. And
Willfully sinning you do not accidently molest children.
Revelation 14:12 (KJV)
12 Here
is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments
of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Notice this is not in the Old
Testament this is as New Testament as it gets Notice the connection with the
Commandments of God (Father, Son and Holy Ghost) and Faith in Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)
8 For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is
the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Not by works, means you cannot get
to Heaven own your own you need the blood of the Lamb of God. The Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ.
Revelation 22:14 (KJV)
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they
may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the
city.
Doing the Commandment of God simply means living by his standard to the
best of your abilities. Your not perfect nor does God intent for you to be
perfect just faithful.
I could easily write another 10 pages on this subject of God’s Moral laws
and how we should observe them always within our Hearts, Minds and Soul.
However, I think you have gotten the point.
P.S. Daniel had warned us that in the end times there would be a on slot
of immoralities, which is a result of doing away with God’s Holy Moral Laws.

NOW THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
The Ten Commandments are ten laws
in the Bible that God gave to the nation of Israel
shortly after the exodus from Egypt.
The Ten Commandments are essentially a summary of God’s Moral Concepts and
Principals.
The first four commandments deal with our relationship with God. The last
six commandments deal with our relationships with one another. The Ten
Commandments are recorded in the Bible in Exodus 20:1-17 and Deuteronomy 5:6-21
and are as follows:
