Marriage and Divorce Lawful and Unlawful

Marriage and Divorce lawful and unlawful

Marriage and Divorce Lawful and Unlawful

    According to the Scriptures

Q: Why should we marry ? 1 Corinthians chapter 7:1 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.

2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

Hebrews 13: 4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Q: What is an unlawful marriage? : Same sex marriages Male with Male, Female with Female this is an abomination or in other words disgusting, a woman marrying a man divorced from his wife or a man marrying a woman divorced from her husband, marrying an close family member or relative, this is confusion.

Q: What is a Divorce? : It is a separation between a husband and his wife, separation between a wife and her husband.

Q: What is Adultery? : It is the husband forsaking his wife for another woman, a wife forsaking her husband for another man, any man who marries a woman who is divorced from her husband, any woman who marries a man who is divorced from his wife,( including sexual intercourse and lustful thinking in these cases).

Q: What is Fornication? : It is sexual intercourse between a man and a woman, a boy and a girl not being lawfully married.

Q: Can I divorce and marry again? : Only if you have married a close family member or relative, or you married a woman that is divorced from her husband or married a man divorced from his wife.

Q: What if my husband or my wife left (departed) and will not return to me? What should I do? You must remain single or be reconciled to your first husband or your first wife.

Q: Can I marry again? In the case your spouse dies, you are free to marry to whom you will only in the Lord.

Matthew 5:31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:

32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Matthew 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

Mark 10:11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.

12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

Luke 16:18 Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.

Romans 7:2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

1Corinthians 7:10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:

11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

GOD'S Answer for divorce and Reconciliation

    According to the Scriptures

    Jeremiah Chapter 3

1 They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD.

12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.

13 Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.

14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Why wasn,t our savior named Immanuel

    Why Immanuel was called Iesus/Yeshua

It is time for you to know

Matthew Chapter 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name IESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Why Immanuel was called Iesus or Yeshua at birth and not Immanuel. He was given that name so that the prophecy

of Isaiah would be fulfilled ; Matthew Chapter 1:22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Isaiah 7: 14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

The name at birth hid him from being destroyed so that the prophecy of Isaiah would come to past. The name Iesus or Yeshua was a nickname "meaning an additional or substitute name given to a person, place, or thing: usually descriptive , a familiar name that is used instead of ones proper name" to foreshadow "meaning to be a sign of (something to come); indicate or suggest beforehand; prefigure;"

the Messiah true name is" Immanuel " The nickname Iesus/ Yeshua is keeping the truth hid from them who would not believe which continue on to this day. Just like the Father moved him to keep Herod from finding Immanuel to kill him

so the Father gave him an nickname to hid him, not only did this action from God hid from Herod but also from those that do not truely seek for the truth. Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

We must remember that a Prophet is not a prophet of God if the prophecy he spoke did not come to past the way he said the prophecy. Deuteronomy 18: 21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?

22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

Everything prophesied about Immanuel birth came to past but not his name Why? As stated above Matthew Chapter 1:22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled . (That it might be) Herod sought the young child to kill him , God knew of Herod plan and move the child . If God had not given the child a nickname, the child would be a easy find for Herod, all he would have to do is have the scrib and teachers who where jews search the the scripture and discover Isaiah 7:14 which was hid from them also to this very day. Herod would be looking for every child with the name Immanuel and as we should know there was only one child at that time prophesied to be born with that name that God hid so that prophecy would come to past. The word might means : a) expressing esp. a shade of doubt or a lesser degree of possibility [it might rain] b) expressing a lesser degree of permission [might I go?] c) expressing a lesser degree of obligation [you might try to help] God knows of difficulties of bring Immanuel in the world and also know how to fulfill the prophecies of the prophets.

Today many are not understanding this because they do not seek God for the truth. Hebrew 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Matthew 11:25 At that time Iesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.

27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. 11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded

Romans 11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

Isaiah's 7:14 prophecy said that they shall call "meaning in the distant future "call him " Immanuel "

The Apostles Matthew and Luke recordings read that said thou shalt "meaning in the immediate future" call his name Iesus or Yeshua .

So his name for us today is Immanuel and the day is coming when the hebrew people will see this and proclaim this great name" Immanuel".
