As we start a new week we thank God for His love, His mercy, His kindness. God is not good to us because we are good, God is good to us because He is good! Amen!

We are 7 days into 21 days of prayer. The power of prayer is an awesome thing! We are believing God for some very big needs, but our God is even bigger!!

Today we willl recieve the vegetable seeds from the US to plant here to help supply food for many  people families. Thank You Lord for Your provision! The daily food of the people in Cuayan is fried banana and boiled rice. Their income for a day is 100 pesos, that's equal to $1 US.

Isaiah 45:8,22-25," Rain down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together. I, the Lord, have created it. "Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. I have sworn by Myself; the word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that to Me every knee shal bow, every tongue shall take an oath. He shall say, Surely in the Lord I have righteousness and strength. To Him men shall come and all shall be ashamed who are incensed against Him. In the Lord all the descendants of Israel shall be justified, and shall glory."

Our ministry here in the Philippines is a demonstration of the love of Christ for us found in the Bible. We address everyday real life issues from a Biblical standpoint. The people we work with here are some of the poorest people in our area.

It is very hard to tell someone just how much Jesus loves them when they are living in a tent, if they are fortunate enough to have one. There children have bloated stomaches from malnutrition.  They can not send their children to school because they have no money. What will their meal be today?

While many people in the US debate about what color to pick for the new carpet at church, how thick the seat cushions should be, these are the real live issues these people face everyday.

Our vision God has given to us here is to build a children's orphanage, grow fresh fruits and vegetables, including rice to support the needs we have here. Everyday we have requests for Bibles. Of all the things these people could ask for and they desire a Bible, that touches my heart!

We need your prayer and then for God to touch the hearts of His people to put their prayers into action. Does God perform miracles? Yes, but He also uses His people to answer prayer. If you want to be a part of what God is doing here, please visit our ministry website at http://cliapm.org

Jeremiah 29:11-13," For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart."
