    The Evolutionists



    The evolutionists like to try to convince people that they are a rational bunch and that they rely on Logic and Science to support their assertions.  As it turns out they ignore logic and science that doesn’t support their predetermined conclusions.

    The Evolutionists and Darwinists ignore and refuse to address the question of – Where did the matter to create these things come from?  Where did the energy to re-arrange the matter come from?  They simply dismiss the fact that Science dictates that Something cannot be created or formed from Nothing.  So are they really being scientific and logical in their thinking?  It appears they are ignoring science when it doesn’t suit them.

    Those who bow to the alter of Darwinism have tried desperately to come up with a reasonable theory about how life actually began.  These theories vary widely.  One of the early ones was that lightening, or some form of energy rearranged some molecules in such a fashion (all by accident) as to create the complexity of a living cell.  This theory was so far fetched and failed so miserably in the attempts to re-create the situation that most of the evolutionists have now abandoned it.  Another that became popular for a while is that molecules piggy-backed on crystals and mutated into a living cell.  The fact that it takes about 250 individual proteins to support the simplest life form and that this would mean 250 individual mutations re-arranging the molecules in a particular and specific fashion and that each mutation would have to be accomplished in just the right order makes this theory so unlikely statistically that there is pretty much a zero chance of it happening.

    Once again, real science foils a theory for them.  So the latest theory is that earth was seeded by aliens from other worlds.  As real science shoots down the ridiculous theories they keep coming up with more and more ridiculous theories.  Notice that the next evolution (no pun intended) of the How-Life-Began game always moves to a point where science has not yet advanced far enough to prove them wrong.  When it has they always come up with something even more far fetched.  If they truly where driven by science and logic as they claim they might begin to realize they have no reasonable answer.

    Let’s throw science aside for a minute and just apply some good old Common Sense.  If the theory of evolution were true we should see evidence of it in the fossil record.  What we should find are very simple and very scarce forms of life in the earliest layer of sediment.  Evidence of life should become more abundant and more complex in each  following layer of sediment up to the current state of life that we have today.  This doesn’t take a rocket scientist.  This is just Common Sense. 

    So, is this what we see in the fossil record?  What we actually find in the fossil record is life showing up suddenly, very abundant and very complex, in what is called the Cambrian layer.  There is no evidence of life before this layer.  There are no simple and scarce predecessors.  The Cambrian layer has all of the species we see today plus more.  So, what do the actual facts support?  The facts support Creationism, not Evolution.  The facts support the Bible’s account of how life began.  When asked about this the evolutionists simply say, “Oh, well there are some holes in the fossil record…”.  That’s not a hole, it’s an un-crossable chasm.  So once again they dismiss and ignore the facts when it doesn’t suit their agenda.  So are they really being logical and scientific?

    We occasionally hear of some discovery in the fossil record believed to be the Missing Link.  All of these to date have proven to be frauds and / or hoaxes.  Of course, they are always referring to the Missing Link between the ape and the human.  Common Sense tells us that if evolution is true we should literally see thousands, if not millions, of missing links in the fossil record.  The link between the one celled life form and algae, between algae and the plant, the link between the tadpole and the fish, the fish and the reptile, the reptile and the bird, the bird and the mammal, the cat and the dog, the dog and the deer, the rabbit and the possum, and on, and on, and on.  And yet, to date, not ONE example of such a thing has been found in the fossil record.  With all of the efforts to find ANY evidence to prove their theory, and the complete lack of any physical evidence being found, there is only one logical conclusion that can be drawn.  NO EVIDENCE EXISTS.  There is absolutely no credible evidence that any species can mutate into a different species.  Science says it can’t happen.  So, who is refusing to consider the facts and the evidence ?  Obviously, the evolutionists.  So are they really being logical and scientific?       

    They like to try and use the mere existence of something as some sort of proof that their theory is true.  Take the Grand Canyon, for example.  You will hear them state that the existence of the Grand Canyon and the laws of physics prove that the earth is billions of years old.  That’s as silly as saying that because someone has a lot of money that it proves they won the lottery.  They simply ignore all other possibilities.  First of all, could it have been Created in it’s current state?  Would that defy physics?  Another possibility that does not defy physics is that a lot of water over very little time (The Flood) would accomplish the same thing as a little water over a lot of time.  So, is ignoring and dismissing all other logical explanations really being logical and scientific?  I always thought logic and science was supposed to weigh all possibilities against all the facts.
    They also ignore the fact that the top of the canyon is about 4,00 feet higher than where the river enters the canyon.  I have yet to hear them explain how the river flowed uphill for the millions of years it took it to carve out the canyon.  Now THAT defies physics. 

    This group also likes to use what I call junk-science to try to convince others that their theory is true.  They will try to tell you that Carbon-Dating, or some other flawed dating methods, prove the age of the earth.  A good article by William Tripp about the details of carbon dating calculations and problems with it can be found at http://www.drdino.com.  The actual flaws involved in these dating methods are far too extensive to list here but I will provide a couple of examples.    Carbon dating tests have been performed on opposite ends of the same mammoth fossil.  The difference was hundreds of thousands of years.  So, two ends of the same animal died at completely different times?  Using carbon dating live clams have been dated as being dead for 1,500 years.  Parchment documents where we know the age have been wrongly dated by carbon dating as being thousands of years older (Twice as old as they really are).  Those who use carbon dating will admit that the older an item is the less accurate the calculations are.  If they are so far off with recent items how can we expect older items to be anywhere near accurate?  All that these dating methods have ever PROVEN is that they are completely inaccurate and unreliable.  And yet, the evolutionists want to use them as proof.  They continue to use these obviously flawed dating methods because they have nothing else to use that supports their predetermined conclusions.  Is this really logical and scientific?

    We hear the evolutionists charge that those who are not believers in their religion are simply too ignorant in biology or they would be believers in the church of evolution.  They try to suggest that because the DNA of a human and a chimpanzee are similar that it somehow proves something.  What it actually proves is that they are Not the same.  Whenever Science contradicts Common Sense it is typically the conclusions drawn by the so-called scientists that are wrong.  Then it becomes Junk science.

    I often hear some of the rabid Darwinists resort to attacking Christianity.  They accuse us of being ignorant in matters of science.  They do this because they have to stay on offense considering they have NO defense for what they believe.  They will say that the evidence of Darwinism being true is overwhelming, yet they can’t show us the evidence.  They will quote a lot of junk science and half baked conclusions and theories, as shown above, but not one thread of actual evidence.  So who is really ignorant when it comes to science and biology?    

    To believe in something that has absolutely no facts to support it is BLIND faith.  Those of us who believe in creation by God have the facts to back up our belief.  Those who believe in evolution have virtually No facts to back up their belief.  So who is really being scientific and logical?  Who is really ignorant and stupid?

    It is obvious, after doing a little research on this, that the evolutionists will say or do anything to deny the existence of God.  They are not driven by science, logic, or truth.  If they where they would abandon their religion.  They seem to be driven instead by a need to deny any supreme being.  They make up all kinds of wild theories and then try to represent them as facts to support this belief.        

    In conclusion, it is quite obvious that true science doesn't contradict the Word of God.  True, credible  science supports the Bible.

    Christians and Muslims DO NOT worship the same God



    have had enough of people saying that the Christians and the Muslims worship the same God.  To repeat this simply shows a complete ignorance of history as well as an ignorance of the two religions.  Yet, we hear it constantly.  Usually it comes from atheists or agnostics but it has been repeated enough that some Christians believe the propaganda.

    So, let’s set the record straight. 

    Because Ishmael and Isaac where both the sons of Abraham some have assumed that they both worshipped the Judeo –Christian God Abraham worshipped.  Nothing is farther from the truth.  Isaac’s son Jacob became the father of Israel.  Isaac was a direct ancestor of the Messiah, Jesus Christ.  The ancestors of Ishmael in the land of Arabia became pagan worshippers. 

    Allah was the name of the pagan moon god in Arabia. Worship of the moon god became the prominent  religion in Arabia.  Archeologists have found temples built to the moon god in Arabia as well as other parts of the Middle East and ancient Mesopotamia.  They have also found thousands of clay tablets describing this religion.  Let’s take a look at some of the rituals of this religion and see if they sound familiar.
     
    Believers worshipped the moon god by praying towards Mecca several times each day.
    Mecca was actually built as a shrine to the moon god.
    There was an annual pilgrimage to temple of the moon god in Kabah.  Although the Arabs worshipped up to 360 different idols at the temple in Kabah the moon god was the primary deity. 
    The symbol of the Muslim faith is the Crescent moon which is also the symbol of the ancient moon god. 

    The Muslim religion practices many of the same rituals as the ancient moon god worshippers.  There is little doubt that Mohammed used the moon god as the basis for his new religion of Islam. 

    Now, I have never heard anyone suggest that the Judeo – Christian God was originally the moon god.  In fact the moon god came along much later.  So they obviously are not the same.  The Bible, in fact,  rebukes the worship of the moon god.

    Deuteronomy 4:19 (King James Version)
     And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

    Jeremiah 8:2 (King James Version)
    And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.

    Mohammed also took pieces of the Christian and Jewish religions and modified it for Islam.  One example is the story of Abraham preparing to sacrifice Isaac when God supplied a ram for the sacrifice instead.  Mohammed took the same story and replaced Isaac with Ishmael for the Koran.  But this plagiarism should not fool anyone into thinking that Mohammed worshipped the same God as the Christians and Jews. 

    Aside from the factual history we need to look at the teachings of the two religions.

    According to the Koran Allah teaches his followers to kill the infidels or those who do not believe in Islam. 
    The Bible teaches Christians to love our enemies and love our neighbors as ourselves.  It doesn’t stipulate that they must be a Christian for you to love them. 

    Allah and the Koran teaches Muslims to spread Islam through conquest. 
    The Bible teaches Christians to spread the good news and the Word throughout the world.   

    Allah wants his followers to sacrifice themselves for him. 
    Our God sacrificed His own Son for our sake.

    The Koran teaches totalitarian rule over the people.  Sharia Law controls religious, political, domestic, and private life practices. 
    The Bible teaches individual freedom as well as individual responsibility.  

    Muslims believe in the transcendence of Allah, and that he holds himself aloof from man. Therefore, they believe that Allah is unknowable and his full nature can never be known by man.  The Koran states his will and commands but does not reveal his nature.  A personal relationship with Allah is not possible. 
    To Christians God reveals His Will and Nature through His Word.  We have a personal relationship with God the Father through His son Jesus Christ.

    In Islam right and wrong are dictated completely by Allah’s commands in the Koran.  There is no sense of morality in men that they should rely on.  Therefore the commandments in the Koran often are in conflict with man’s inborn sense of right and wrong.
    As Christians we believe that, although we are all sinners, God has put the universal sense of morality in the hearts of men.  He did this when He created man in His own image (Genesis 1:26).    Because of sin we need to renew that image through Jesus.  Therefore we know the difference in right and wrong by nature, even if we sometimes choose to do the wrong things.  So there is no conflict between what the Word tells us we should do and that sense of right and wrong that God has given us.  The only conflict is in the hearts of men when we want to do what is wrong in spite of knowing that it is wrong.   

    So, there are no similarities in the Lord of the Christians and Allah.  You would have to be ignorant of history as well as the teachings of the religions to make the foolish mistake that they worship the same God.

    The USA - A Christian Nation



    In recent years there is a movement to deny that the United States of America is a Christian Nation and that it was founded on Christian principles by Christians.  The reasons for this movement vary depending on the motivations of the group.

    The Religious Left -  The Atheists, the Darwinists, and the ACLU would like to do away with any reference to Christianity within our country.  They say that they want to protect religious freedom and they use the so called Constitutional Separation of Church and State argument to try and accomplish this.   Their motivation is, of course, to promote their religion of Evolution as fact and convince everyone that there is no God.

    The Political Left -  There are many on the left, including the ACLU, that want to deny that this nation was founded on Christian principles because it is those principles that keep them from acquiring more power by taking away individual liberties.  There are even those who say they are Christians but still deny this country was founded as a Christian nation because of political party and ideological loyalty.  If the moral standards of Christianity are used by the lawmakers it will not let them accomplish their agenda of controlling the population as they’d like to.  This group wants to minimize the Christian influence for the same reasons all communist nations have tried to limit the Christian influence in their population.
    Although the Political-Left also likes to use the so-called Seperation of Church and State argument they don't seem to have a problem with religions such as Islam being promoted.  Islam actually promotes their agenda because it promotes tyranny over individual freedom.  Therefore Islam can be used as a tool to accomplish that agenda.     

    Christianity is the only religion that is based on individual freedom and liberty.  But with that comes individual responsibility guided by a strong moral compass.  That moral compass is based in the Word of God.  Starting with Adam and Eve God has given us the freedom to make our own choices.  He has also chastised and passed judgment on man whenever  men have turned their back on God, ignored the Word and therefore lost that moral compass.  Religions such as Islam are based on tyranny and control of others.  There are no moral or ethical standards when the religion teaches the destruction of any who have a different belief.          

    These are the primary reasons for this movement to deny that our country was founded as a Christian nation and that the founders of the nation where Christians.  Let’s look at how they try to convince others of this. 

    Both of these groups argue that nowhere in the Constitution is Christianity mentioned, and that religion is only used once in the 1st Amendment.  Although this is true, if you look at the documents around and leading up to the Constitution as well as the writings of the founders there is no denying that the constitution itself is based on Christian principles.   

    A few examples :

    Our constitution was modeled after the colonial constitution of the Commonwealth of Connecticut.  That’s why Connecticut has the nickname of the Constitution State.
    Here is how the Connecticut colonial constitution begins: 
     
    For as much as it has pleased the Almighty God by the wise disposition of his Divine Providence so to order and dispose of Kings, that we the Inhabitants of Windsor, Hartford, and Weathersfield, now cohabiting and dwelling in and upon the River of Connecticut and the Lands thereunto adjoining, and well knowing when a people gathered together, the word of God requires that to maintain the peace and union of such a people, there should be an orderly and decent Government established according to God, to order and dispose of the affairs of the people at all seasons as occasion shall require; do therefore associate and conjoine ourselves to be as one publick Estate or Commonwealth, and do for ourselves and successors and such as shall be adjoining to us at any time hereafter, enter into combination and confederation together to maintain and preserve the Liberty and purity of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, which we now profess; as also the Discipline of the Church of Christ, according to the truth of said Gospel as now preached amongst us, as also in civil affaires to be guided and governed according to such Laws, Rules, Orders and Decrces as shall be made Ordered and Decreed as followeth

    To deny that this was written by Christians would simply be dishonest.


    The Declaration of Independence :
    When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
    We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. …………………………………………..
    And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.

    While Christianity and Jesus are not included in this text there is no doubt that the God referred to here is the Judeo/Christian God.  To argue that these rights are endowed by Allah or any other God makes your argument lose all credibility. 
     

    At the Continental Congress Benjamin Franklin submitted a motion to start each session with prayer. 
    ".................. In the beginning of the Contest with G. Britain, when we were sensible of danger we had daily prayer in this room for the divine protection.- Our prayers, Sir, were heard, & they were graciously answered.................I have lived, Sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth- that God Governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid?  We have been assured, Sir, in the sacred writings, that "except the Lord build the House they labour in vain that build it." I firmly believe this................I therefore beg leave to move-that henceforth prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven, and its blessings on our deliberations, be held in this Assembly every morning before we proceed to business, and that one or more of the Clergy of this City be requested to officiate in that Service."


    We also see arguments attempting to deny that the founders were Christians.  The deniers will try to tell us that rhe founders were Deists who only believed in a Supreme being as it related to the universe being created.  But since then everything was done by the laws of nature and there was no Devine intervention.   We also have the Political-Left say that there is no way you could know the original intent of the founders to use in interpreting the constitution.  All we have to do is look at the writings of these men outside of the founding documents to understand what their beliefs and intentions were.

    A few examples:

    1st U.S. President
    "While we are zealously performing the duties of good citizens and soldiers, we certainly ought not to be inattentive to the higher duties of religion. To the distinguished character of Patriot, it should be our highest glory to add the more distinguished character of Christian."

    John Adams
    2nd U.S. President and Signer of the Declaration of Independence
    "Suppose a nation in some distant Region should take the Bible for their only law Book, and every member should regulate his conduct by the precepts there exhibited! Every member would be obliged in conscience, to temperance, frugality, and industry; to justice, kindness, and charity towards his fellow men; and to piety, love, and reverence toward Almighty God ... What a Eutopia, what a Paradise would this region be."
    --Diary and Autobiography of John Adams, Vol. III, p. 9.

    "The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God."
    --Adams wrote this on June 28, 1813, in a letter to Thomas Jefferson.

These I take to be the fundamental points in all sound religion, and I regard them as you do in whatever sect I meet with them.
    As to Jesus of Nazareth, my opinion of whom you particularly desire, I think the system of morals and his religion, as he left them to us, is the best the world ever saw, or is likely to see;

    These are the words of the founding fathers.  How can anyone deny these men are Christians?  To do so would be to call them liars.  To do so you would have to be a liar.   They were obviously Christians and I see nothing they have written that leads me to believe they wanted to keep Christianity out of the government.  What I see is just the opposite. 

    The Deniers like to quote Amendment XI in the 1797 Treaty of Tripoli, in which we find the words, "…the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion…".  

    To understand this agreement between the U.S. and the Muslims of the Barbary nations you first have to understand the context.  At the time thousands of our citizens were in the custody of Barbary pirates.  The U.S. was viewed by the Muslims as a Christian Nation in the same context of the European Christian nations of the Crusades.  Any Christian nation was viewed as a militant enemy.  Not unlike the muslim extremists of the current day. 

    With that Islamic misunderstanding of Christianity, how should the U.S. negotiating delegation respond to the question, "Are you a Christian nation?" If you answer "yes," you are quickly categorized into a Crusade-form of Christianity and an enemy. If you answer "no," then you appear to be denying the basis upon which you were founded.
    Remember, the first goal was to get the seamen, the cargo, and the ships released from extremist Muslim captivity.  We were currently in a war with the Barbary nations.  This was shortly after the Revolutionary war so our naval resources were limited.
    So that is the context around this amendment being written and agreed to by the US delegation.

    What is so ironic about the effort to deny the Christian foundation of our country is that if this country was not founded on the Christian ideals of liberty and freedom, including religious freedom, then these groups would not be allowed their dissenting opinion.  The Muslims force everyone to practice the same religion.  The Atheists are only tolerant of Christians because they are in the extreme minority.  We have seen the actions of Atheistic regimes in the past.  They make sure Christianity is not practiced by anyone.  In fact today we see the minority of Atheists trying to deny the majority of Christians the right to express their faith.  They do this under the pretense of protecting religious freedom.

    So these people want to deny the very foundation that allows them the religious freedom they enjoy.
