          A Journey Through the Word

    Hunger

I was reading Mathew today and I came accross the verse- Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. This really started my thought process for what does it mean to thirst or Hunger? When we are thirsty and hungry that is all we can think about. What to eat next and what to drink. This consumes us until we are full. Can you imagine if we approached our faith like that. If we hungered and were thirsty for scripture and God's word how awesome that would be.We would then truley be placing God first. I know that I could use a lot more Hunger for the word and for righteousness. I always find myself putting it off to do later as I am hungry for wordly things. Please send your thoughts.

    Merry Christmas to all!

What does Christmas really mean to you and me? The question that should be asked by all of us. The birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the start of what God planned for all of us. Through the birth of Jesus we find a Savior who would come to fulfill the scriptures and to save us all. We all must accept Jesus in our hearts so that we to can begin the journey that God has in store for us. So as we celebrate the beginning with the Birth of Jesus we are also witnessing our beginning because through Christ we are born a new! I am so happy to be able to say that as the world slowly turns away from Christ we all need to turn to him now more than ever. Peace and the Lord's blessing to all of you.
