After The Storm Question 1

I have decided to use a new entry to post a question or comment.  Then we can use the comment section to discuss the question.

In the first chapter we are introduced to the main character Diana.  Her father's business is going under because a coworker swindled him out of a large amount of money.  While having the eidence that would convince the man, Diana's fiance is killed in an airplane crash.

Diana is devasted with his death.  She is also angry.  She wonders what kind of God would allow such senseless death and destruction? What kind of God rewarded the evil and destroyed the good?

Is Diana right to be angry at God?

After the Storm, by Margaret Johnson

This is it.  Let's start the discussion.  Well I have never been the leader in a book group before so I will have to play it by ear. 

Here is a brief description of the story below:

Diana Sullivan, President of Sullivan Publishing House must try to save her family's company. . . in any way she can. Her father, fearing bankruptcy for the company he founded, pleads with Diana to accept the marriage proposal of Kevin O'Neal, son of a rival publisher. Their marriage would merge the two companies and solve their financial problems. Eager to help her desperate father, Diana almost relents until she meets Steven Cartright, a brilliant author. A compelling story of love and conflicting loyalties, of old romances and new relationships.

Introduction

I am using this blog as a book discussion group.  Twice a month, hopefully, I will post a christian book to discuss.  Since ChristiansUnite provides books that can be read online, I will most likely pick from that list.  That way people will not have to run to a store or the library.  They can read the book right from the computer.  Also feel free to pick a book also.

Well I am to pick out a good read.  I still have to figure out how to do the discussion.  Maybe make a main post and then use the comment section?  Hey I am open to ideas.
