"You're here to be light..."
Since working on Fruition, the spiritual ideas from the video come to me right when I need a little lift. (They come quite frequently now that I've been writing, reading, lip-syncing, animating and hearing them over and over again for the last 2.5 years!) But, let me share one quote that I've been thinking about recently. It is in the last scene when Blake answers the phone and hears an unfamiliar voice. The voice says, "This world has great need of you."
There are so many times when I have no idea what I'm doing and wonder why have I been spending so much time on something that may not ever be useful to anyone. The quote was inspired by Matthew 5:14. "You're here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We're going public with this, as public as a city on a hill." (The Message) As I apply this idea to my world I feel refreshed and prepared to continue this mission in whatever shape in make take.
