    easter message

As we approach the Easter Celebration of our risen Lord, I really wonder if the world really realizes or cares about what took place and the significance of what Jesus really did! Not only on the cross of calvary, but the resurrection from the grave from death to life! It's not the fact that we color easter eggs, hide them then and forget where they are, eat chocolate bunny rabbits and some get sick, or can't wait to get time off from school or work to go play! It is the shedding of his precious blood, once for all for the forgiveness of our sins and the resurrection from the grave so that we who believe on him, will have eternal life with with him!( John 11:25) On would wonder why God chose such a horrible death! We know that God hates sin! It is dark and evil! Jesus walked the face of the earth preaching good news of kingdom of God and performed miracles. The Sadducees and the Pharisees were trying someway to destroy him. He spoke in parables and some were aimed at them directly! I believe that they had an inkling to who he was. The heir, the Son OF God. They tried to get him to blasphmey himself. The demons were whispering in their ears saying, you have to destroy him! He's the heir! You want to lose everything you worked for! Your good standing with Rome, the people looking up to you and your high positions! They worked very hard behind the scenes. They even got one of his disciples( Judas) to betray him! When they went that night to arrest him,you could hear the demons of hell laughing with glee! We finally got him! We got him now! They laughed and howled with glee as the soldiers mocked him, spit in face. They pulled his beard and put a crown of thorns on his head began to beat down on it. They whipped him and the blood was oozing all over his back and face. They were filled with joy when the people were yelling, crucify him! Crucify him! They were right there helping the soldiers put the nails in his hands and feet. As Jesus hung on the cross they ridiculed him! Ha,is this the son of God! death to him! They snickered when Jesus asked God to forgive the people for they didn't know what they were doing. They were laughing when Jesus cried out and ask the Father, My God! My God! why has thou forsaken me! They must have given high fives when God had to turn his back on his only begotten son and the tears flowed down his face! He had to let finish, that what was suppose to take place. They thought that they had won when the spear was thrust in his side and he commited his spirit to God and he died. They were with glee when they laid him in the tomb. They probably helped to rolled the stone in front of it. They probably bowed down to Satan, their lord. telling him he's won. Satan even laughed when Judas hung himself. He watched the body of Jesus in the tomb with a smirk on his face. On the third day something happened! Jesus sat straight up! There was an earthquake! The stone was rolled away! The demons and Satan started yelling! No! This can't be! Jesus walked right out of the tomb and lokked them straight in the eyes and they scattred! He won the victory over death!!! He is the KING of KINGS! The Lord of Lords and he is my Savior! We should never for get what Jesus did for us! Someday those that believe in him we'll be able to thank him face to face. May God richly bless your life with the Easter message!

I have just finished reading the book " The Shack" by William Young. I recommend this book to everyone. I laughed and cried. I was able to see a more loving side of the Trinity. It has related so much to what I am going through in my life. We sometimes put God in a place where we can't reach him. We think that he just sometimes doesn't understand or care.Sometimes we just think he sits on his throne and counts the stars. The truth is that he cannot wait for us to come to him. He wants so much to have a relationship with us. He cannot wait for us to talk to him so that he can helps us along the way. God is Holy. He is God the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, but we can talk to him just as if he is sitting or working right along side of us. Take them along with you where ever you go and put all your cares upon him for he cares for you. (1Peter 5:7) I am thankful he is my savior and Lord of my life no matter what happens. My comfort in my suffering is this, your promise preserves my life.(Psalm 119:50) God Bless you all- Ray

When I go to my quiet rest at night, I usually read a psalm and meditate. While doing this I try to remain still before the Lord and wait for his leading. I was reading Psalm 16. For several days I felt compelled to read this again and again. In verse 7: I will praise the Lord who counsels me even at night my heart instructs me. Verse 8: I have set the Lord always before me because he is at my right hand I will not be shaken. Verse 9: Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices. Verse 11: You have made known to me the path of life. You will fill me with joy in your presence with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Sometimes our minds are occupied with things that we don't listen to the leading of the Holy Spirit. He is always leading and telling us if we just open up to him. He loves us so much. Always set God before you and you will not be shaken. Remember we are just passing through. Our eternal home is with Jesus who will give us eternal pleasures at his right. Father I thank you for everyone who has helped and prayed for me. Someday I will be able to thank them face to face. I pray for all those that know you. I pray that you strengthen their hearts. Amen!

When my wife went home to be with the Lord twenty two months ago I did not know what to write in this blog. What I did was just pour out my heart. When I write I try not to be repetitious. I like to write to encourage others. We can never be reptitive about the grace of God or his Love for us. I will never be able to write enough about Heaven and what I think it will be like. We all of some ideas or opinions but we all agree that Heaven is a real place and that is where the Ancient of Days is. In his Holy Temple on his Heavenly Throne. Some were given the opportunity to see and write about it. It is a place where all those that love the Lord will be. The blind will see, the deaf will hear, the mute will speak, and the lame will walk. All sickness and suffering will be gone and we will see loved ones again while we praise God around the throne. Yes, because of Jesus we will be able to be a part of it all! We are just visitors here, just passing through towards home. What a family reunion that will be. God has been good to me and I praise HIM for his grace through Jesus Christ. Happy Easter! He is risen! God Bless You!

As we are now in the New Year, we hear about all the candidates that are running for office. There will be millions upon millions of dollars spent on the campaigns. I think it is amazing that so much money will be spent to place a person in the White House. Both parties will have spent the millions either on negative ways or to obtain votes. They will do anything they can to win or to discredit their opponent. This reminds me that as Christians we were bought for a price. That price was the shedding of the precious blood of Jesus Christ for our sins. By accepting God's true gift of salvation in his Son, we have the reward of eternal life with Him. Heaven is the ultimate home for us all. I call this God's big house. When we get there we will never have to leave and we will enjoy his Holy Presence with all of our loved ones! Yes, Satan will do everything in his power to keep us out, but Jesus Christ has claimed us. Praise God. All we have to do is believe and accept him. I just finished reading a book called "90 minutes in Heaven" by Rev Ron Piper. I highly recommend this book to everyone as it is very encouraging. Rememeber God loves us! 2Chonicles 15:2- The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you. God Bless you all
