Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old. Micah 7:18-20

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:17

    Sun, May 6th - 11:29AM

Veronica and I had gone to a local church, a little country house of worship that by all outside appearances looked as though the folks were on fire for the Lord and accepted all who entered. After attending for a while, we started to notice how some had established themselves as “leaders” despite the fact that backbiting and sharp tongues were hidden from the world, while others were of the Laodicean persuasion.  It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman and in a wide house.  So consequently: The north wind driveth away rain: so doth an angry countenance a backbiting tongue. We left, which was a shame since the Church was quite close to home.

For those whose love for God surpasses all things, this is quite distressing in one sense because we need and crave the fellowship of our brothers and sisters in Christ and all that is desired is to worship our Father in truth and joy.

But this is just another example of last day signs:

Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit.

The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.

That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.

The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.

Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.

For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.

Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.  Micah 7:1-7

Grace and peace to all who reside in Jesus Christ.

Most Christians observe Easter on Sunday but some of us have a slight problem with the commemoration because there isn’t any scriptural proof that anyone celebrated it…why is that do you suppose? Now many would point to Acts 12:4 as being the authority, but did you know that Easter is really not mentioned at all there? No, actually the Greek word used is in reality a word that means “Passover”. Jesus said in Matthew 12:40 that He will spend 3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the earth. Something’s wrong here… Good Friday to Sunday to be exact: you and I can count and know that it doesn’t add up to 3 days and nights does it? If you study Matthew 28:1 and the word “Sabbath” you will find that is actually plural (Greek work "sabbaton") There were 2 Sabbaths that week which means Jesus had to be laid in a tomb by sunset (John 19:31-42)because the night and day that followed were holy (verse 31), the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Leviticus 23:4-7), a Holy Day Sabbath that could fall on any day of the week (in this case Wednesday evening sundown). Friday was a regular work day, followed by the weekly Sabbath, then Jesus rose after Sabbath, Saturday evening. John 20:1 tells us that it was still dark when Mary Magdalene arrived at the tomb and already found it empty with the angel telling her that Jesus had already risen. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

The Ten Commandments...to follow or not to follow; that is the question. Look to them as an authentication of whether a person is a follower of Christ; more like the Ten Confirmations. We no longer are saved by works, but the Spirit works in us to fulfill those things that we can’t do by ourselves. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

My goodness!!! How can Christians proclaim God disciplines those who refuse His grace to an eternal fiery punishment while maintaining He is a loving Father? Would you do the same to a child who willfully refuses to trust and obey your instruction and ends up like the nation of Israel? I think not… The Bible speaks in many places of the complete destruction of the wicked; the second death to be specific. We can’t be fooled by the teachings of those who pervert the Word. Remember, the Enemy uses very small tactical changes to the Scriptures. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Well brothers and sisters it's close to the time don't you think? I don't know about you but Veronica (my wife) and I are very excited and am looking forward to that glorious day of Christ's return. First of all I would like to give a brief synopsis of our very close study of scripture. We believe Jesus will return very shortly after stepping out of the most holy place where he has been our High Priest and declaring: He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Gotta go for now...The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
