It is another very hot day today! We have had here in Oklahoma, over 30 some days with temperatures  from 100 to 110 degrees. Phew! I can't wait to see summer end. Fall is my favorite time of the year.

My scripture for today is Eph.2:8,9  for by grace ye have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of  God; not of works that no man should glory. This tells us that we can ever be saved by our works, no matter how good we think we are, or no matter how many good works we have done, it does not qualify us to get to Heaven. It is by faith in God's grace alone, that we can be saved, through the works of  of Jesus Christ our Lord. He is the door, and there is no other way up.
