Wisdom and Understanding!
Proverbs 21:30 No human wisdom or understanding or plan can stand against the Lord. Proverbs 22:17 Listen to the words of the wise; apply your heart to my instruction. Proverbs 23:12 Commit yourself to instruction; listen carefully to words of knowledge. Starting from my youth, I hungered so much to be an adult. We all have our ideas of what an adult is. Remember: "I can't wait til I turn ___...", "I'm an adult now, I shouldn't have to_____". I thought I knew so much more. Whether we are taught it or not God's word never changes and it never returns to him void. God has an inheritance for us. The bible is full of history, knowledge and wisdom. We find our promises that God made to us and warnings about things that can cause us mental, physical and spiritual harm. It is important that we read about our inheritance for ourselves. Go over with a find tooth comb. Just as we would if an attorney called and said a relative left us some money. We would rush down to the attorney's office and listen to the reading of the will to find out what we have coming to us. Well, the same thing applies to the BIBLE. God has something for us and when Jesus died he left us an inheritance and if you want to know what it is you have to read. This is where you get knowledge, this is where you gain wisdom, this is where you get instruction and this is where you start to understand that ANY plan you make has to line up with God's word in order for it to be successful. We need to listen to our parents, especially the parents that are applying God's word to their lives. We need to listen to our friends and family (Holy Spirit led). Stop thinking we know it all. Even if we do know God's word and have studied it backwards and forwards. As much as we are spirit filled and God led, we still are full of human wisdom and understanding and yes, we may hit the mark on something things that God wants from us. But, we still do not have FULL understanding and won't have that until the day we are in the New Kingdom. Getting to the place where you think you know it all is called vainty, pride, self-righteousness, a boastful spirit... If we are full of ourselves, where then can we be filled with the Holy Spirit? God Bless

Spend Time With God! An Important Tool To Our Salvation and Spiritual Growth.
Matthew 26:42 (Whole Chapter) Then Jesus left them a second time and prayed, “My Father! If this cup cannot be taken away [ Greek If this cannot pass.] unless I drink it, your will be done.” Mark 14:39 (Whole Chapter) Then Jesus left them again and prayed the same prayer as before. We always complain that the reason we don't read, pray or even go to church is because we are so busy. Jesus had a very busy ministry-And didn't have a car to get around in. Can you imagine walking from your city to another or from your city to the two or three past that? Can you imagine walking from one state to another? Understanding they also traveled by boat. But, have you ever driven from one state to another? Are you in ministry? Now can you imagine many many people coming to you for healing or to be ministered to, right after your trip? Jesus was a busy man, yet he took time to get alone and pray because he understood that it was essential to his ministry and to His relationship with God, The Father. We want all this peace, we want wisdom and understanding, we want guidance and answers, yet we refuse to take time out in our day to be along with God. We're getting filled up on TV shows, telephone conversations, work days, children, spouses, friends and family- and church and we are ministering from that overflow instead of being spiritually fed so that we can be prepared for our day. Or stepping away for a moment to get a refill. When our car is out of gas we know we have to stop to get gas or the car won't start. So, why don't we know that the same thing applies to our spiritual man? Just something to think about... God Bless!

Proverbs 15:4 (Whole Chapter) Gentle words are a tree of life;a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit. Proverbs 18:21 (Whole Chapter) The tongue can bring death or life;those who love to talk will reap the consequences. James 1:26 (Whole Chapter) If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless James 3:5 (Whole Chapter) In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. James 3:6 (Whole Chapter) And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. [ Or for it will burn in hell (Greek Gehenna).] 1 Peter 3:10 (Whole Chapter) For the Scriptures say,“If you want to enjoy lifeand see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking eviland your lips from telling lies We have the power to speak the very thing we fear is going to happen into existance (Our job situation, children's behavior, spouse's behavior, family member's lives, relationships, finances, health, etc). When we see ourselves going down the wrong path, when we feel that a situation is out of control, and when someone is behaving in a self-destructing manner, we see it and our mind starts processing that thing into words, imaginations, and ideas. Here is where:
2 Corinthians 10:5 (Whole Chapter) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ And Romans 12:2: 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect come into play. We have to take responsibility for the things that are going on around us. We have to condition ourselves not to speak negative about an already bad situation. Speak life, in the name of Jesus and by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ! Take control of your thoughts, think on the things of God and His power, imagine what He can do to turn that thing around and speak life. God Bless!

Prayers of the Righteous!
Proverbs 15:29 (Whole Chapter) The LORD is far from the wicked, but He heareth the prayer of the righteous.
James 5:16 (Whole Chapter) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
1 Peter 3:12 (Whole Chapter) For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil." (www.bible.com) As stated in these scriptures, God hears the prayers of the righteous. It is important for us to repent daily for our sins. God does not hear the prayers of the wicked. Be careful to guard your heart against the Pharisee spirit, that you do not become full of yourself. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God. We read our scriptures, pray, fast, go to church, prayer and bible study and for some of us, even more. But as soon as we believe that because of all of this we are okay, we are not sinners... Any time we look at someone in their sin and can think "look at them", as if we do nothing, as if we didn't look at someone with lustful eyes, as if we did not just snap at someone that asked us a question, as if we did not just get off the phone or have a conversation with any someone-gossiping and backbiting, as if we did not just hold sex from our spouse, as if we did not just have this unforgiveness come over us... SINFUL! Anyone who thinks they do not sin are sinning. We need to get it right! Confess, repent, Pray! God Bless!
