Beloved Family in Christ,

God is increasing the knowledge about Himself, that intimate, personal knowledge, to everyone who will go after Him to discover Him.  Here are 4 more of  His qualities that we receive as we partake of and meditate deeply, continually upon His Word:

PROMPTING:  Exodus 4:12 (NLT) "Now go!  I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say."  John 10:2-4 (NLT) "But the One Who enters through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.  The gatekeeper opens the gate for Him, and the sheep recognize His voice and come to Him.  He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out. After He has gathered His own flock, He walks ahead of them, and they follow Him because they know His voice."

PREACHING:  John 14:10 (NLT) "Don't you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?  The words I speak are not My own, but My Father Who lives in Me does His work through Me."  Acts 1:7-8 (NLT) "He replied, "The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know.  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.  And you will be my witnesses, telling people about Me everywhere - in Jersulem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

PROVOKING:  John 16:7-10 (NLT) "But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don't, the Comforter won't come.  If I do go away, then I will send Him to you.  And when He comes, He will convict the world of its sin, and of God's righteousness, and of the coming judgment.  The world's sin is that it refuses to believe in me.  Righteousness is available because I go to the Father, and you will see Me no more.  Judgment will come because the ruler of this world has already been judged."

PLEASING:  Philippians 2:12-13 (AMP) "Therefore, my dear ones, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only in my presence but much more because I am absent, work out your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling.  [Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire] both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and  delight."

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

To us, the well-beloved children of our Heavenly Father (el Precioso Padre de los Cielos), He imparts from the vast, eternal store of His heart, qualities through His Word.  He is revealing Who He is, how much He cares, and how He longs to have us receive from His merciful, generous Hand.

Permission:  "Who may ascend the hill of the LORD?  Who may stand in His holy place?  He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear falsely.  He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his Savior.  Such is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face, O God of Jacob." Psalm 24:3-6 NIV     " Blessed are those who wash their robes.  They will be permitted to enter through the gates of the city, and eat the fruit from the tree of life."  Revelation 22:14 NLT

Possession:  "... Blessed be Abram of the Most High God, Possessor of heaven and earth." Genesis 14:19  " The earth is the LORD'S, and everything in it.  The world and all who live in it. "  Psalm 24:1 NIV  " But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God...."  1 Peter 2:9 NIV

Purpose:  "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.  For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers."  Romans 8:28-29 NIV

Plans:  "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart."  Jeremiah 29:11-13 NIV

Promises:  "For by these [His own glory and excellence], He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, in order that by them you might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust."  2 Peter 1:4 NASB

Precepts:  "Thou hast ordained Thy precepts, that we should keep them diligently."  " Behold, I long for Thy precepts; revive me through Thy righteousness."  " And I will walk at liberty, for I seek Thy precepts."  "I am a companion of all those who fear Thee, and of those who keep Thy precepts."  Psalm 119:4, 40, 45, 63 NASB   "Joyful are those You discipline, LORD, those You teach with Your instructions.  You give them relief from troubled times until a pit is dug to capture the wicked."  Psalm 95:12-13  NLT

Provision:  "Abraham named the place Yahweh - Yireh (which means "the LORD will provide").  To this day, people still use that name as a proverb: "On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided."  Genesis 22:14 NLT   "And this same God Who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus."   Philippians 4:19 NLT

Protection:  "Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.  This I declare about the LORD;  He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust Him.  For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.  He will cover you with His feathers.  He will shelter you with His wings.  His faithful promises are your armor and protection.  The Lord says, 'I will rescue those who love Me.  I will protect those who trust in My Name.  When they call on Me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble.  I will rescue and honor them.  I will rreward them with a long life and give them My salvation'."  Psalm 91:1-4; 14-16 NLT

His Qualities Imparted

Dear Friends in Christ,

There are many qualities from our God that He imparts to us through His Word.  In my last entry, I listed 7.  There are now 24 that are written on my heart, so I will share the first 8.

Passion:  "And He said to them, I have earnestly and intensely desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;" Luke 22:15  Amplified Bible     "And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to Myself." John 12:32 NLT

Purity:  "And everyone who has this hope [resting] on Him cleanses (purifies) himself just as He is pure (chaste, undefiled, guiltless)." 1 John 3:3  Amplified Bible

Praise:  "Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to His Name."  Hebrews 13:15 NLT

Presence:  "You will make known to me the path of life: You will fill me with joy in Your Presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand."  Psalm 16:11  NIV

Peace:  "I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence.  In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]!  For I have overcome the world.  (I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.)"  John 16:33  Amplified Bible

Power:  "And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as My Father promised.  But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven."  Luke 24:49  NLT

Prayer:  "Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;"  Romans 12:12  KJV  "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.  Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done."  Philippians 4:6  NLT

Pardon:  "Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me.  He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.  He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.  He fills my life with good things.  My youth is renewed like the eagle's."  Psalm 103:2-5  NLT

His Impartation through His Word

"You are my refuge and my shield; Your word is my source of hope."  Psalm 119:114  NLT

"Lord, You are mine!  I have said that I would keep Thy words."  Psalm 119: 57 NLT/KJV

"...But to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at My word."  Isaiah 66:2b  KJV

"God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for Him, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs."  Matthew 5:3  NLT

The blessings of the Kingdom of God belong to His own who treasure Him, hold Him in awe, and reverence His words, unto obedience.  As His beloved children, we recognize and confess the vastness of His love and mercy, the excellence of His majesty and greatness, the wonders of His grace, and our tremendous need of Him.  So He fills us with Himself as He imparts to us through His word.  Here are 7 of His qualities that He gives to us through His word:  His

Passion,  Purity,  Praise,  Presence,  Peace,  Power,  Prayer.

Paid Dearly -- Valued Highly

" Unto Him Who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father....."  Revelation 1:5-6 KJV

" For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors.  And the ransom He paid was not mere gold or silver.  It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.  God chose Him as your ransom long before the world began, but He has now revealed Him to you in these last days."  1 Peter 1:18-19 NLT

" ....for you are a chosen people.  You are  royal priests, a holy nation, God's very own possession...."  1 Peter 2:9 NLT

" ....much more surely will those who receive overflowing grace and the free gift of righteousness reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ."  Romans 5:17  Amplified Bible

" The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord; He directs it like a watercourse where-ever He pleases."  Proverbs 21:1  NIV

God our Father gave us His very best, His all, in the Person of His Beloved Son, Jesus.  Jesus poured out His all, unto the last drop of blood, for us who were His filthy, hateful, and condemned enemies.  What a horribly high price He paid to redeem us from the hand of satan, and translate us into His kingdom!!  Yet here we are, without doing anything on our own to be here.  And we shouldn't be just existing.  He expects us to be reigning with Him in the position He suffered, died, and rose again to obtain for us.  Our place is in Christ, with our Father in the heavenlies, as worshippers and pray-ers in living sacrifice.  We are also, by His amazing grace and His applied righteousness, reigning as kings in this life to decree our King's righteous judgments in this world.  All this is true and has happened because He has loved us with an everlasting love, and with lovingkindness He has drawn us to Himself.  We are His and He is ours.  Family.  Partnership.  Passionate dedication from the One Who gave and did everything so we could be with Him, now and forever. 

 Where are our hearts?  May we cry out to Him for the ability to respond to Him in the way that He desires most.
