I write screenplays and am always on the lookout for inspiration. God has a way of putting it right in front of me every time I need it. He is so amazing.

          God bless you.

    bewildered

I went to Six Flags this past Saturday, and I just couldn't believe how many people were cussing worse than sailors!  It was awful!  It used to be a family-friendly place, but I sure wouldn't want to expose kids to that kind of talk.  (Or anyone for that matter.  I didn't appreciate the words entering through my ears, either.)  Anyway, to say the very least, I was bewildered that the atmosphere had grown so much worse in only one year.  I was there around this same time last year, and it wasn't even close to being as bad as it was this year.

I suppose you have to pick your battles.  I wanted so badly to tell these people that the words they were using didn't make them look very intelligent.  But I didn't feel it was my place.  It just wasn't my battle to fight.  Maybe I was just supposed to see how bad the world is getting and see how much more the world needs our Christian influence and God's love to shine through us to them.  If we live the way God intends us to, that will be more of a witness to the world than anything, really.

    God bless all of you!

    Choices

I'm writing a story right now about the choices we make in life and how those choices effect everyone around us.  There's the choice of attitude...  It has immediate effects on those we care about, some positive, some negative.  The choice of fear...  This one usually goes down to the core of who we are and where we've come from.  It's not easy to pull out of this one, but when God is helping us through it, it's definitely possible!  The choice of trusting...  Sometimes it's difficult to trust people around us.  Sometimes people let us down (by accident or on purpose).  We have the choice of who to trust and how much of ourselves to trust them with.  The choice of love...  I think this is one of the biggest choices we make in our lives because it's the ultimate version of trust.  We choose to give our hearts to Jesus.  We choose to give our hearts to our spouses.  We choose to give our hearts to our children.  We choose to give our hearts to our parents.  We choose to give our hearts to our siblings.  All those choices are voluntary, and they could all bring us heartache.  What if I am rejected?  What if they lose faith in me?  What if I let them down?  Will they still love me back?  I think that we've got to make our choice of love no matter what their reactions are going to be.  We've got to trust God to lead us into the right choices concerning love and that very deep and intimate part of ourselves, the part of ourselves where we are genuine and open and free and very vulnerable.  If we trust God, He will lead us down the right path.  Of that, I have no doubt.

    God bless you.

    Hello bloggers!

    Hi bloggers!

I was just taking a break from writing on my latest screenplay and thought I would join this site.  I've been visiting it lately, and I have to admit I'm addicted already!  It's a great place to be with tons of links to great websites.

For those of you interested in the End Times, my dad has a really neat website on the subject.  He's been researching the End Times for over 30 years, and God has given him quite a bit of interesting insight into the subject.  Please check out my dad's website:  endtimessecrets.com  He has also written a book about the End Times, and it's very imformative.  I'm about halfway through it, and I've learned so much about how the End Times are going to happen that I just couldn't comprehend and decifer on my own when I tried to read Revelation.  My dad's book takes you through it step by step, always leading you right back to the Scriptures to read it for yourself and explaining what it all means.  It's a great book, and it's up on his website if you're interested.

God bless you, one and all!

    Andrea
