God Forgives
The story of David and Bathsheba can be seen as many things, about judgment and condemnation, and also about God's grace, hope and restoration. If we are willing to admit our sin and accept God's judgment, grace and restoration it is both. For those of us who have experienced moral failures, sins this story reminds us of God's plan, not to kill us once we sin right away but to grace us, and restore that relationship with Him.
When David realized what he did he asked God for forgiveness which God had already forgiven him. However sometimes we as Christians fall in sin and try to cover up what we did, try to justify it; so we tell a lie which we say will not harm anyone, and that lie will eventually lead to another one...(then we run to God asking him to take us out of this mess..however...if at first we acknowledge our sins and asked for forgiveness, we would not be in that mess.
God's grace will extend towards us and He will try to restore the relationship with Him. Stop seeing God as a big monster who will punish as we do something wrong, He is the only perfect one let us humble ourselves and acknowledge our faults and God will make it right with us. After all that is what the enemy seeks, for us to feel guilty when we've done wrong and let us think that GOD is unforgiving, but remember (1 John 1:9-10 NKJV) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. {10} If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
God help me to acknowledge my sins right away, help me to come to you once I've messed up. God I acknowledge that I am not perfect and it is my desire to be as Holy as you are. Tank you for your grace that carries me each day. Amen

Rough Season
The story of Joseph is well known, we can say Joseph was going through a "rough season" he was sold to the Egyptians and then to make it worse he was lied on by his master's wife and sent into prison, however throughout all this Joseph never lost faith in the God he served he held fast.
Sometimes in our lives we go through some "rough season", our friends leave us, our bosses treat us like "crap", bills become due without any source of income, temptations, abuse and the list goes on...When we are facing these "rough season" it not only calls for prayer but a stronger trust in God. God can be simply testing our character, molding and forming us into a better person in order to fulfill His dreams. When we have passed that test, passed that season, we move into God's plan for us, the result will be UNBELIEVABLE, we will be AMAZED.
According to Luke 22 v 31 Satan wants to sift us as wheat, however through the sifting (rough season) we will come out refined. God has His plan when He allows satan to sift us. He wants us to be conformed to the image of His son, Jesus Christ.
So whatever the situation your facing, whatever circumstances, just continue to trust God and allow him to do a work in you for the end result will be greater. Praise him in advance, because God knows exactly what he's doing. Because just like Joseph we will come out victorious and great. Lord help me to trust you more during these rough seasons, I trust you and I do not turn to the left nor the right I fix my eyes upon you. Amen

INQUIRE OF GOD
1 Samuel 5: 18-19
Now the Philistines had come and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim; so David inquired of the LORD, "Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you hand them over to me?" The LORD answered him, "Go, for I will surely hand the Philistines over to you."
1 Chronicles 10: 13-14
Saul died because he was unfaithful to the LORD; he did not keep the word of the LORD and even consulted a medium for guidance, and did not inquire of the LORD. So the LORD put him to death and turned the kingdom over to David son of Jesse.

David always seek God whenever he's going out to battle, and he always wait on God's timing whenever is right and he's always victorious (with God of course). Saul on the other hand took it up on himself and did not inquire of God and therefore....well we all know the end result of that situation. I'm saying this to say that everything that we do we should inquire of God, find out if this is what we should do. God wants us to come to him for direction, whatever the situation just ask God...what's your take on this? Let us not be like Saul and take matters into our own hands and suffer the consequences. You might be saying "I ask God sometimes", but that one (1) time when you don't inquire of Him, might be that one time you end up face-down, or even worse-- DEAD.
God wants us to seek him in every situation and not just in the difficult ones. When we are driving on the road ask him...."should I take the highway God?", when we are walking..."should I walk this street today God?" in every aspect of our life put God first. It might sound "spooky" asking these things; but God wants us to be in a constant relationship with Him, not just during prayer times and those "5 minute devotions..(which is another topic all by itself)" God wants to be in our business meetings, our schools, even when we are getting dressed.
Let's stop leaving God on the back burner in our lives...after all He wants the best out of us.... Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." and we will never come in to the prosperity if we do not inquire of God and ask of his direction. We will be running around like a chicken without a head....so let's start the day right ask God his opinion and everything will fall into place.
God forgive me of the times we left you behind, thank you God for keeping me and I ask you to help me to put you first. Amen

Nothing Can Ever Separate Us
Romans 8: 31-39 (Message)
So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn't gladly and freely do for us? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God's chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture:
They kill us in cold blood because they hate you.
We're sitting ducks; they pick us off one by one.
None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I'm absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God's love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.
God's on our side who can separate us from the love of GOD???...

NO HUSBAND!!!
NO WIFE!!!!!
NO FRIEND!!!!!!
NO MOTHER!!!!
NO FATHER!!!!
NO BROTHER!!!!!
NO SISTER!!!!!!!
NO ONE!!!! NO ONE!!!!
(NOT EVEN OURSELVES)
Just like we can't cease being the children of our earthly parents once we are born, so too we can't cease being children of God once we are born again. We can no more be unborn spiritually than we can go back and be unborn physically. When we trust in Christ for salvation, by His grace at that very moment we become members of God's forever family. Paul asks what can separate us from the love of God.
Not even ourselves, because God loves us even when we do not trust Him; that's the God that we serve. He looks at where we are going and not what we are now, for if he were to do that, mannn!!! we would be in some great trouble. But thank God for his unconditional love his grace and mercies each day that carries us through.
AS the day continues lets think about the love of God and his many blessings and pass on His love one to another......Nothing in all creation can separate us from God's love for us in Christ Jesus our Lord!

Hard Times - Keep The Faith
Even though times are hard and it seems that God isn't present, he is still there watching and protecting you. Sometimes God allows things to happen to you just to test your faith, therefore still trust God. Just as how Job still trusted God through all of his sickness and trials. He was faithful to God and in the end after trusting and believing God he was rewarded. When your feeling down remember this "Don't be obsessed with getting more material things. Be relaxed with what you have. Since God assured us, "I'll never let you down, never walk off and leave you," we can boldly quote,
God is there, ready to help;
I'm fearless no matter what.
Who or what can get to me? Hebrews 13:5 (the message).
So continue to trust GOD!!!!....
He never fails us yet!!!!!
AMEN.
