Born an brought up as Christian in Highest caste Brahmin family of Calcutta,who accepted Jesus Christ. Reasonbly well versed in Hindu religion. I have worked as a research scientist in America for 30 years. I wish to reach out to my welleducated Hindu brothers and sisters,2-3 million living in America,about similar # in UK and work with them to reach out to the 1.3 Billion in India. My strategy is to publish literature, engage in TV/Radio discussion with their Priests, using Mr. Lee Strobel and Ravi Zacharias' question and answer intellectual approach. Missionaries have tried filling the rice bowls, providing care to the lepers and other untouchables to draw them to Jesus. It was a noble approach. However, it yielded poor results.Only 2.3 % of Indian population is Christians after 2000yrs of investment. Unfortunately, Christians have been successfully margilized by the powerful and educated Hindu majority. Christians have been physically harmed and sometimes killed as they were illiterate, poor and they could not protect themselves. I have some understanding how a Hindu thinks. I want to present claims from their scriptures as I studied it in college and I still have them.I would present with dignity and respect the evidence or lack of it clearly and intelligently so that the educated professionals could think and wonder if the claims can be substanciated. We Indians are very good in making claims without any evidence and hide behind that the events are so ancient that it is difficult present them from ancient and medival history Indian history, archeologically. I will use their scriptures, Indian History, Archeology, anthrapology to provide lack of any vidence for their claims. I do not expect a mirecle to occure in a year or two but hope to make significant inroad in five to ten years. Since I have been forced to retire due to a mild stroke, I can devote all my talent(unique in one respect),time for reaching out with a diferent strategy with a team of Christians of any denomination except Pat Robertson as He has lost credibility amongst Indians in America and India by making unproductive and derogatory comments about Hindu gods on TV. I hope you will have some use for this servant of the Lord. I feel I will be better used in this type of endevour(Harvest) than serving in a local soup kitchen.
