There is the dtory in the NT where the father ends up saying to Jesus, "I do believe, give me more faith!" We do what we can in faith and ask for more. How does he give it to us? Personally, I think the trials we go through is part of that. Seeing what is done for us personally is the most effective demonstration of his abiding character and love for us.

Welcome back! Hope you had an awesome time.
The battle is already won - that had me for quite some time. I didn't understand the true meaning as I always felt the pain and hurt the battle brought. But then I realised - All I need to do is cling to God, do as much as I can the right way as taught by God, and He will bring me through the way He had originally planned. And everytime I have done that, I have been victorius - and why? Because the battle was already won. He had already planned that I would be blessed through it all. I was just running the race to the finish line.
Not getting my point across the way I want to, but I'm sure you understand.

Make disciples, Yes andd true faith will draw a crowd Since the battle is already won we don't have to exhibit the loosing game plan of our sinfull nature allowing us to present Christ to the world just as He demonstrated
