Sorry, I haven't had time to read up on this until now. Oh wow! Looks like you have been in the thick of things, but I am so pleased that you have resolved this matter within yourself.
I personally would not be able to say that having this attraction is wrong, but I can see how satan would use it against you. I trust that God will guide your path and allow His will to be done.
So glad to see that you are determined to continue this ministry. Those people really need you.
