great thought for today. David faced tremendous obstacles in his rise to the throne... but he also knew that God had annointed him to be king and that became his encouragement! Ironically... that time he spent in isolation and exile gae David teh strength to trust God when he became king... he knew that he was not king because of what he had done but because of what God had done for him. Thus is the lesson for each of us!
