    Hi Mel -

I am a bit confused about the jumping from v27 to v12? Can you explain the meaning of this and why the jump? Really interested in your line of thinking.

    Many thanks

    jetaime: Merci!

Lee: Simple enough. They are not intended as going together by any sense, although in truth, they do seem to have a relation in my mind that has not come fully to my understanding.

I have committed to a brother to have a scripture for every day. That is why I initially started this blog, as a way to keep me true to that. I may not read much at times, but I am close to consistent in at least my reading of a portion each day. I am using a one year bible in the NLT translation (just the New Testament) I can read it on the train without getting motion sickness. It is a small amount. It is easy (as if that were a legitimate qualification, although it is the truth of the matter) enough for me. So that is what I do.

So then, I highlight one verse out of that day's reading for that day's scripture. Not very inventive or grand, but it fills it's purpose in my life. These two strung together is just a manifestation of me trying to get it up and back to posting a scripture for very day, which I have not been very faithful in I am afraid. (but that is something easy to see and know)

Now that you asked the question, of course my mind is running with the thought. Not every day is special to me until it is (moment by moment) but with Easter on everyone's mind, my thoughts were on Jesus in the Garden before and what the meanings and times are after (which I expect I will not see until it is here)

Jon will probably see the effects of my sleep deprivation again soon...

(in other words, if a thought will keep me awake, this is one that might)

    LOL!

    In Christ,

    Mel

Thanks for the explanation. I realised way after asking that they actually were not related. Sorry to get your mind worked up over it.

    God bless

No need, Lee. There had to have been a purpose in even that 'mistake', if you insist on viewing it as such...
