We are the children of the Most High God, and His promises are true. He will chasten scourge those He love. He does this to gain our obedience to His Word, and to bring us closer to HIM.

I love this great reminder to us: God wants a relationship with ME! He wants me to surrender my will to Him. He will fight my battles for me - I just have to give Him the opportunity. Wonderful to be reminded of how easy God can make our lives if we just let Him.
