Hey Stuart, just wanted to come back and say a little more in regard to your post for a long time I would have considered John as my least favorite of the gospels. Then I started to study them and understand the difference (for a long time I thought they all said the same thing) Since most of John is not in the rest of the gospels and the feeding of the 5000 is the only miracle talked about in all 4 of the gospels do you believe we should then focus on sharing the word. Obviously it was important to God. It seems to me that what we can learn from this is that if we share the wealth still plenty will be left over if we are faithfull.
Be blessed

Hi Ross,
The Gospels of Mt. Mk. & Luke are collectively called the 'Synoptic Gospels' Seeing together. From that we take these gospels which together make up the one Gospel, when you include John which takes a different tack as you realised, we can see a much clearer picture of God, & Christ His Son. God's great redemption plan is not just for a few, He wishes everyone would take it up, BUT there will always be scoffers see also Rev. passim,
What we as evangelists have to do is tell the truth, as we see it, as we understand from our own experiences, what God has done for us. I believe that is the way forward, no use telling someone that Jesus loves them in an abstract way, we MUST introduce the personal!! That is what John is doind.
Hope this helps.
Love in His Name Stuart
