Hi Marsha,
Can you imagine being John and knowing that the Saviour is coming. And then actually seeing the dove of the Holy Spirit descend on Jesus's head. What a wonderful feeling John must have had - what a feeling of love and wonderment! To actually know and see the King of kings - the Saviour to all! Ahhhhh!

Amazement, for sure. And imagine how small he must have felt, taking disciples and baptizing people. According to Jesus the greatest man conceived by a woman. Imagine his anger towards people showing no respect to Jesus. And imagine his relief when Jesus left him.
But surely the seeing of Jesus must have been a kind of joy.
