LOL! Pray for patience, and you know what the answer sometimes is: a test of your patience. Many educators have caught on to the idea of testing for training. Funny that we should not think a loving Father might do that as well...

Hey, I never prayed for patience! I know where that leads. Do you think I just fell off the turnip truck?

    Jon,
Why would we want to get all uptight & rage? I realise that I have no right to Holy anger like Jesus in the Temple, but at the bible study on Monday my chum told about writing a letter, a real stinker on a piece of cardboard, (A stiff letter), then after showing it to his wife, who cringed that he was going to send it, and pleaded with him not to. He told her that he had no intention of doing that & tore it up. He felt better. I think that we have all been there in some way or another. I proposed a certain course of action at theChurch counsel meeting & was shouted at by a number of people, yes I felt mad, but as I told my Grandson after a school argument, that when you loose your head you loose control of the situation, who knows what you might say then?
How we work it out depends on the individual, we say up the Clyde, (River), on a banana boat, not the turnip truck, Hope you can work it out without feeling the fool.
    Not patience but peace!!

Ok, your last sentence had me in stitches. I often find when I get close to exploding, it means I'm close to the end of the trial or testing. The saying that God will never let you go through more than you can handle is so true for me as He tends to take me right up to breaking point and then the sun comes out.

My husband also recently said to me, I can't ask God for help with this as this is just minor and He has so many other things to worry about. If He created the world by speaking it into existance, we should give him more credit. He is far more than capable to get to everyone's requests irrespective of how insignificant they may seem. Besides the fact, He loves you!

Hope you are smiling by now.

by the way, your feelings are more than normal. Remember, you are HUMAN and it's in our nature! The difference is how we react to it all and I think Stuart has a fantastic idea.

    God Bless!

Be sure to keep in mind that it will all get better soon. It is still supposed to get better soon, right Dad?
And did something else happen that you didn't tell me about yet?

See, I know you guys would get all concerned and everything. It was just venting and it felt good. Its all good now.

Yes, there are things I don't tell you about. This attack came in a resignation letter, so it was its own solution. New board next month, minus two problem people!

Wow, when did you peep through our windows? How could you have known what is going on within my heart at times. I strive to remember that nothing has or can overtake me that my Lord doses not know about. Sometimes I want to drive till I am 50 miles from nowhere and scream till I am hoarse as can be, then I realize that all I have to do is give it to God. Nevertheless, I am impatient and want it taken care of now! However, as a wife of Gods servant I know that people seem to forget that we ARE only human that we too are still in the flesh, that we to have days that do not go right. But why is it that we are not suppose to HAVE NO FEELINGS of any kind. Are we dead to feelings?

In my experience, there are more hurtful things done in the name of Jesus, by well meaning people, usually preceded by "I tell you this in Love".
UI personally do not believe this is necessary, some times we have to hold our tongues, & not cause our brother or sister to sin, that said Pam I have been in your position by people who may not mean to hurt but they do.
Take it to Calvary, LEAVE IT THERE. That works for me, do not revisit, but leave it with God. Otherwise it will fester & grow until you do explode. Our Father understands.
