The garden in the beginning...And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it. _Genesis 2:15 Amp. Bible...The Devil is a liar!. And we know it. So why do we listen to him?

The story of the garden of eden reminds me of all the trials we are still tested with each day by satan.The list is to numerous to list,I for one as you know was tempted by satan with the bottle,and fell for his trap.The lord has opened my eyes to satans trap,and I have been released from satan's lie.

Oh Marsha, That satan made Eve full of discontent! She had everything in her perfect world but he made her want more! We all have to be so careful we don't fall for his evil temptations and tricks. Stay in the Word of God. It is our powerful defense!

It always delights me to remember that the very first directive God gave man was "tend the garden". I used to feel guilty about spending so much time on my garden, but then I realised that the Lord created the first garden because He loved it even more than we do.
