Hi Lois, thanks for another great post. An older lady-a Christian from America packed her bags and went straight to Haiti, being led there by the Lord, against all odds. She had a heart for orphans, and single handedly opened an orphanage still going strong today. Because of her many infants and children are alive today. Dear sister. So true, when Jesus calls we have to step out of our comfort zone. Sweet teacher, you are always a blessing to me. May you and yours be continually blessed.

Amen, Lois! Excellent post, and a much-needed encouragement to many of us.
I once heard from a former pastor the story of a gas station cashier he knew who felt God tell her to go do a few cartwheels in the store parking lot on a slow morning. She thought that couldn't be God telling her to do something so absurd, but the impression grew stronger in her spirit, so she obeyed.
Not long afterward, she found herself leading someone to the Lord because of her obedience. Turns out that he had told God he would believe in Him only when he saw someone doing cartwheels in that very parking lot, because (of course) he never actually thought he'd see it happen. When he did, he pulled into the parking lot, rushed into the store and asked the girl why she was doing cartwheels. She explained how she'd felt God telling her to do it, and he broke down in tears, told her about his comment to God about believing and cartwheels, and asked what he needed to do to be saved.
Some of the greatest prophets in the Bible were directed by God to do absurd things in order to minister to others, so why should we think God would be any different in His directions to us?

Thanks for visiting and leaving your heartfelt input. A wonderful post that will benefit to all that reads it. Yes, isn't it awesome how our precious Lord works with His Children. We must always be obedient, because there is a purpose in where He leads and what we are to do. Just like the man you spoke of, and the girl doing cartwheels, she was obedient. We are to be a witness everywhere we go, let our light shine so bright, so people can see Jesus in us.....
God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, He never changes.....
