Great job. People need to be so careful about what they accept as authority! Even revelations that we get can be deceptive. we can mean well and be as sincere as we can posssibly be but if what we believe does not line up with the Word of God then there is a real big problem....

Why then do you think that teachers are held to a higher standard? (judged more harshly) James covers that for me. And it is one of the reasons I do not like being called a teacher or preacher or any title where one would follow me. I am not afraid to pique one's thoughts, but I am loathe to be more than an advisor, especially because I can be wrong.

your post makes me remember a time when a loved one of mine asked me wasn't it true that Jesus and Satan were brothers? There are far to many separtist takes on scripture. Mel I understand your point about teaching, but just what is it that Matthew 28:18 says to do?

Thanks for all your comments, Mel & Ross, did you really think it was an easy road Jesus asks you to travel? The only thing you can see is the first bend, you do not know what is happening round that same bend. That is when the trust comes in!!
