That's one thing I want to remember to teach my children...it's not what you do for God that's so important, but it's who you are in the Lord that really matters. The quality of relationship someone has with God and character comes first and after that good works will naturally follow.

Beautiful post! It is truely a blessing to read from the heart of a man such as you. Perhap you have helped me to better understand my frustration with those around me who claim the name of Jesus but have little else in Him. As you speak of the masses falling headlong into eternal damnation, the masses that bother me the most are those who claim to know God. Fom their fruit, it seems that they only know of Him. Why do they not want what they hear about? Why do they remain so comfortable in their Sunday morning pews? Why is the church so full of emptiness? Why does all of this makes me so aggravated?

I cannot understand why God made me so smart and i could still have been so dumb for so long! (It thundered... so I guess i still have a long way to go!)
