May our rewards always be in heaven! If we do good, (as the slave girl did) and recieve nothing, what is our attitude? Just a story within the story, since you speculated to her being raised to a higher position...

    BTW, Hello again!

To serve Him, to humble ourselves and serve those around us, oh if daily we might remain focused on the idea of loving one another and serving God through that.
    Thanks Stuart

Reading this story reminds me of something I have come to realise this week. We have a few radio stations that especially around Christmas try and help out people in need. I often find that people they help are often people that are helpers themselves. In a way, it is fantastic as seldom do these "helpers" get anything in return. BUT, I was wondering what the radio presenters would do if faced with a request to help someone who in "effect does not deserve it" For example - grant a thief perhaps a R5000.00 food voucher, or a used car to a prostitute on the street corner, or a dream vacation to an alcoholic. Are they not the ones that need to know that they are loved and needed?

    God Bless
