Wow! You've got that right! Words are "sharper than a two-edged sword" and they can inflict pain (which is done too often!) or health, hope and healing...
The Tongue
What is is that within me cries there must be more than all these lies; I search and seek for only truth; my tongue speaks of all things uncouth.
My tongue can cause or soothe a pain;
can fling out anger or love’s refrain; my tongue can mask an attitude -- sometimes bad, sometimes good.
Lord, help me seek to only say edifying things today! Things to ease, to please, to bless -- Lord, help me live Your Holiness!
God, forgive us when we use our tongue to abuse!!!
