Norwegian flagIt looks like a beautiful place.

I wonder: Why is it we focus so much upon Christmas and so little on Easter? By Easter we celebrate the salvation, both in traditional Jewish and in Christian sense. To me it makes more sense to "really" celebrate Easter.

People do not know what we celebrate, really. But even among Christians Christ has become an excuse for man. And so we celebrate "the excuse being born". If we do, though, we are pretty self-confident. Christ is the excuse of God (the Son the excuse of The Father). But Christ the excuse of man? Really. Christ will justify behaviour and work. But an excuse he will be only to the really righteous one. And they are few.

No. If I ever get a family I think I will have it focusing on Easter. Jesus Christ is not a Santa Claus giving away excuses.

Ooooops ... Smiley Something always happens when I post on you place, Marsha. It must be because I like you so much. This time I pressed the back button of my browser when I should not. It should have been a law against doing that. Maybe that would have stopped me.

Hi Anders, "Christmas" all year round in Frankenmuth, MI..Is a "beautiful" place to visit..It is really "Spiritual" at the "Chapel".. I believe that our focus should be on "Christmas and "Easter"..ON "JESUS"!..Thank you very much for your interesting comments..I'm really glad that there is no law against pressing the back button..I think we would all be in trouble if there was?
