God works in mysterious ways... even in churches that are less than perfect. I always heard... if you find a perfect church... what ever you do... do not join it... because you will corrupt it.
God gives us the lessons that we need to be what He would have us be... and He leads us all if we will just let Him do so... Sounds like this is indeed a leading lesson!
