There are rich treasures for us in the Book of Proverbs which many of us are too busy to find.
An old idea is a really good one: reading the chapter of Proverbs that is the same number as the day of the month. Continue the practice with various translations and paraphrases if you like.
I don't substitute it for my regular Bible reading, but am finding it immensely helpful.

I have another brother tht does that as well. As with everything, it may be the method you choose or not.
My thought on your post:
6Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
Colossians 4:6 (NIV)
2Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.
2 Timothy 4:2 (NIV)
To me these say, be ready to give an answer. Those who will not listen now may seek answers later. Be ready to answer straight away. Honestly and Humbly.
In Truth,
Mel

Hi Annagail. We have to try as Christians to witness to the lost. But as you said some peoples hearts are to hardened to listen. We can only pray for them and let God deal with their hearts. Good Post.
Gods Love.
