I think you have it as good as it can be here in your mind. So now comes the tough part. Live it in the face of doubts that will arise. Face the fact that the battle is for your heart, which I think you have, and fight to be the child God wants. I think that everything will be as it should be if you can do that, and even that, not on your own strength, but on your loyal trusting of God. I have been using that catch phrase, of loyalty and trust, to mean the same as faith. I am seeing it that way at this point in my life. Am I perfectly Loyal? No, but I get up again and try to be so. Am I perfectly trusting? No, I have also been hurt, and pain makes it difficult to trust. However, I assure myself that God is not the source of my pain. My sinful nature is. I fight in my mind with that truth. I find it hard and I am deceived at times, but again, I get up and act in faith again. I so wish I was perfect, but I know that perfection will only be mine in heaven.
Press on. We are for you. More importantly, God is for you, so who can stand against you? (when you are in his will)

I pray that all the right words that you speak become a reality in your life. I must tell you though, that the Word of God says " Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart",Psalm 37:4. This is not a pretty little catch-phrase, this is God's word, and His word cannot "return unto Him void" Isaiah 55:11. What is your heart's desire, Tim? Delight yourself in Him, and you shall have it! So saith the Lord!
Trust me... I have lived this promise.
