44Like a lion coming up from Jordan's thickets
to a rich pastureland,
I will chase Babylon from its land in an instant.
Who is the chosen one I will appoint for this?
Who is like me and who can challenge me?
And what shepherd can stand against me?"

"...what shepherd can stand against me???"
Reading this in a few other translations is still puzzling me...

That would have taken me 2 hours to type. You have me awe stricken simply for the amount of print here. I like Jeremiah and I have to say of those with woes coming to them I pity most the false profits. Thanks for the message
God bless

lol Ross -
Mel - I once did my own bible study on Jeremiah. Too ages, but I was so surprised at what I thought it meant. I had it all typed up and on my computer at work but we were broken into and all our computers stolen so I lost all that time and effort I had put into it. ;O(
Will definately do all that again in a heart beat as Jeremiah absolutely amazed me. I say thing that there was so much I had no clue about, but know that my eyes will be opened bit by bit.
Call upon the Holy Spirit to minister to you through this, but I felt it important to read it as a complete book and not just one or two chapters.
Good Luck and keep it up.

Lee, Yeah, probably right. When I need to understand, I will.
Ross, cut and paste with editing. Short ones I type. I think maybe 10 verses is the most I've typed in here. You give me too much credit. There are a lot of resources online to get the verses.
Your not so crazy as to type all of this in Brother,
Mel
