Paul here telling the readers in Corinth of the importance of the Gospel, that was his priority. The work of the second stage, baptisms, Church membership etc. took second place in his agenda. He preached of the grace of God through the work of Christ at Calvary.
Not personalities, but Christ is the 'reason for the season'. Glad to read its yours too Marsha.
