Marsha, Have you ever given thought to the fact that John was Jesus cousin? I didn't for years, then one day as I was reading the story of Jesus conception, and how Mary traveled to see HER cousin it hit me. I don't know about you , but my cousins and I use to fuss and fight a lot, especially those of us close in age. Each of us wanted to be the LEADER the one the others followed. Yet here is John the older of the two, who says, behold the Lamb of God, whose shoe lace I am unworthy to unlatch. OH! To be more like John, humble unconcerned with if someone is better at things than I. Just do the job God put me here to do.

John is a most important part of Jesus our savior taking away our sins,and giving everlasting life to those that believe,and be baptized.
