I remember the first time I heard that song. I loved it then and I love it now. It was sung by GLORIA over here and it became known as her "song" because everyone associated her with it. I have not posted my poem One Day At A Time yet Marsha but I will do it for you!

Indeed. I suspect that if I reach the place where I could take more of this life than one day's worth at a time, I would be blessed with enough more so that I shouldn't think to look too far ahead and make too many plans with my feeble worldly wisdom...

Hi Mel, in the area I live it is not uncommon to hear gun fire. Seems someone is always getting shot. Gangs infected! Small police force!..I can only take "One Day At A Time"..

Hi Marsha, One of my favorite songs. Only way we can live, one day at a time. God holds the future. As the saying goes, (today is yesterday's, tomorrow) but tomorrow never comes.
