    Yvonne,
I may be "reading you wrong" and if so, I apologize. But until then, I must speak my mind in love. You stated, "an unnamed Gentile woman taught Jesus..." (Mark 7:24-30, Matthew 15:21-28). I do believe that no one has ever had to teach Jesus anything. HE taught them (and us) that women were important, and those passages plainly portray that fact.

Secondly, "the details of these gospel stories may be questioned"???!!! By whom, may I ask? And I will answer, only by Satan. He and his followers have questioned and distorted God's Holy Word since the beginning. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever and I am thankful that HE will never change...and His Spirit will enlighten and guide into all Truth those who seek Him.
    with His grace,

According to one story, an unnamed Gentile woman taught Jesus that the ministry of God is not limited to particular groups and persons, but belongs to all who have faith (Mark 7:24-30; Matthew 15:21-28).
You are right no one can teach Our Lord. It was phrased that why as an example not an exact.
Satan is also the father lies. He likes to cause conflict and he is magnificent at pointing out the faults of otehrs. Please continue to view my site. I welcome your insight and feedback Be Blessed.

Yvonne, I do agree that Satan likes to cause conflict. We know he is also the false accuser of brethren. And as you said, he is the father of lies. I guess that is why I had concern about your statement that "the details of these gospel stories may be questioned". Again, unless I'm reading it wrong, that statement seems to imply that Scripture is perhaps not all true or the whole truth. I really wasn't trying to point out "your faults"; that sure isn't my place to do so.

    Hi Yvette,
I am sorry but I have to agree with Sharon on the point that a woman did not teach Jesus.
I am a strong pusher for the Bible - I believe it is the Word of God and believe everything it says.
I agree that women have been strong in the Bible, and I agree that Mary Magdalene was the first to see Jesus after He rose from the dead.
I agree that the women were at the foot of the cross when Jesus was crucified.
BUT no where do I see an 'unnamed Gentile woman teaching Jesus".
Sorry, but I have to disagree with your statement and support my Christian faith.
    Because I am His,
    Mary-Lou

A quick note to everyone I am not one this platform to argue. I am here to vioce my christian opinion as led by the Spirit of God. I also must comment that Jesus was a human(God Man) child, teenager and young adult, and as such Mary his mother(first) and many others by way ot the Spirit of God taught him things. She did this knowing that some day her baby boy would suffer and die on the cross for all of us but she "Taught" him as instucted by her Master.
